Maybe...but there's a lotta people that're kinda "blind" both ways - they either reject everything that comes with darkness (I mean EVERYTHING), or only want darkness - period - no light whatsoever. I guess they don't know that there IS such thing as gray spaces where both reflect each other and blend in, and if they don't know that then they'll be blind to a lotta things..

But then there is us.........aren't most of us here have parts of dark and parts of light in them? And yet, many of us are still blind about BOTH sides....so.....

Ugh....*brain leak* mmm...yup, I guess you're right...but there ARE some people who can't help that they're blind because they haven't heard of it...and some that know they're probably blind but are too stubborn to accept one of em...errr...I guess it really goes down to opinion and what you feel, m?

yeah no one can live alone but they can survive
maybe he/she won't live the life to the fullest because he/she's alone
but they can survive in this life which mean they're waiting their time to die
so you have some right points there LoOoL

I don't fight it. I leave it to engulf me. But tried to make sure that it doesn't get into me.

Yes. I realized that i could not win. so i don't fight it anymore. I accept it and live with it. and when loneliness felt like a burden, i desired people, but when so many people let me down and ruined my life, I then realized that it is A BURDEN TO NOT BE ALONE, and i began to appreciate my loneliness. I love it. I don't need people as much as they need me, but the problem is, they are too cowardly to admit it. as a loner, i am strong, for i have learned to survive my entire life WITHOUT ANYONE.

the darkness is my friend, but i shall never become a victim of that darkness anymore.

Reading all of these makes me feel really bad. The fact that people are accepting loneliness all the time so eagerly makes me sad. All I can say is that I used to be a loner, and I completely understand what it's like to be let down or to be backstabbed, but my life has become so much happier and so much easier with friends that I can trust my life with. Sure, loneliness can eventually become a strength, but it also has many many weaknesses. I don't know. I've been to the extreme of extremes with loneliness and it just can't beat true companionship.

Loneliness starts to lose its perks the older you get. Maybe some people can live their entire life alone, but I'd much rather stay happy with people I can depend on, ya know?

Also, it sucks that uncaring assholes have ruined so many lives.

and don't fight loneliness, because the more you dwell on it the more you wanna go into darkness. You can't fight it.
You can't just be engulfed in loneliness either, otherwise you become insane. The human mind is not designed for loneliness because if a human mind is isolated for too long, it will develop into a mind just for itself. If something goes wrong in the course of the person's life, there will be no one to help, and the mind will climb over the obstacle and fall, and break. Why do you think when people trip on hallucinogens people try to trip together? Why do you think bad trips happen more often when you're alone?

Just let darkness and loneliness be what it is. Everyone needs darkness to see what light looks like. Everyone needs some alone time, or you'll never become who you are, you'll just become what you see from your peers.
