It seems evil but its the best hope for man kind to survive another 10,000 years or so.

As people become stronger and smarter, the standards for what is "smart" and "strong" is raised, so there will always be dumb and weak people since the standards will always be rising, and not everyone will always meet them.

thats a good thing. the Standards should keep climbing, that way people strive more and more for greatness.
As long as the standards keep climbing man kind will keep getting smarter, and getting stronger. Win Win for human....

No it won't be win-win, if we have to keep killing off all of the weaker people, which will always be the majority of people, then eventually there wont be enough people to sustain the human population, and then we'd go extinct. So unless you're one of those "humans suck we should all die" type people, then it wont be a good thing.

There's also the whole issue of who gets to decide what is considered "strong" and "smart," and if you've read any fictional novels about dystopian universes like those, then you should know that that never ends well.

I disagree. do not let the stupid bread, that not really killing them, 'eggs and Sperm can be taken from the smart and strong, and test-tube Babies made to keep the population up.

Even if you did somehow manage to stop all those people from reproducing (which would lead to a dystopian society that has been explored in many fictional novels), smart and healthy people don't always produce smart and healthy kids, and dumb people don't always have dumb kids.

'What is the chance of a dumb person having a smart kid... Not well edgucated but born gifted smart. 3.0% or so.

What is the chance of a well gifted person having a well gifted child... 50% or more.

'The fact is its still better than letting people bread that will give there children harmful traites. Like kids born with dosorders. DNA spicing is the next step, but lets not go that far just yet.

Way to pull out random statistics without even understanding the field of genetics as it is today, like the fact that as of now no one knows any clear relation between a person's genes and their intelligence, and that intelligence isn't solely determined by genes. There is no single gene that determines a person's intelligence, there are a variety of genes that influence a person's intelligence, and these genes are not genetically linked, so there is a very small chance (less than 1% I'm assuming) that the offspring of two smart people will receive the exact same combination that will make them baby geniuses.

There's always the chance that both parents could be carriers of a harmful recessive trait, and that the child will recieve the recessive allele from both parents and come out deformed. In fact, I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, people are carriers of a harmful recessive trait, so if we have get rid of all those people then we'd most likely have to wipe out all humans.

Also, you never mentioned what kind of intelligence you want in your dystopian society.

Mhmmm... Evolution from Darwin is basically Natural Selection.. It's actually impossible to isolate something and destroy it because of the constant change in environment.

=) i did this for Anthropology+Philo as well. Schopenhauer states that love is a mechanism for humans to breed, for example, a tall person would want a short person because dey don't want their kids freakishly large. Actually, people just want well balanced children, equal in limbs and calmness in mind. Thus, love isn't what everyone thinks it is, it's just a natural mechanism for selective breeding.
Also, Darkphoenix3450, you have the same mindset as Adolf Hitler, so if you people do believe it is correct, I hope you are a part of the Aryan race

They're doing that in China. They are pairing up their athletes with co-athletes. E.g. Yao Ming's parents, Yao Ming and current gf. By doing so, they sort of 'manufacture' human beings to suit up the physical requirement needed in order to be successful in a certain sport/discipline.

whats wrong with that?

man kind should bread the most strong with the most smart, and leave the weak and stupid out of it. They should not have the right to mate.

There's nothing wrong with it actually (as long as they do not force them to elope/be together). I do not know why you're insinuating such.

Never said they had to get together. Just use there eggs and DNA.. to make better people for the future.

no its not really evolution, but it has the exact same effect

im just trying to show that evolution exists, even in the human world
and since not many people on crunchyroll live in jungles, i had to use selective breeding as an example

I don’t really know that anybody questions evolution’s existence in this nature. What some people doubt is that evolution is the origin of life.

But this explains perfectly how new species are formed.

Lets say a species of an animal lived on two seperate islands
well then they will have different conditons and range of natural selection, maybe even different predators
and over time they would develop into 2 different species.

Well, I’m a firm believer in evolution as the scientific origin of life. I’m just saying that other people find there to be gaps in the theory-and there are gaps. Still, that doesn’t mean the theory is wrong and there’s no reasonable evidence that it is. On the other hand, there’s plenty of evidence that it’s right…but, people believe what they want. Like the Ark Seekers.

The time scale in which macroevolution occurs is so large; humans haven't really seen it. Until I see a whale start walking, and turn into a hippo; I will continue to have doubts. Not saying it's not true or isnt backed scientifically; these jumps just seem crazy to me.

Evolution doesn't explain how life began, it explains how life has changed genetically since it began. Abiogenesis is the area of biology attempts to explain the origins of life, and it's separate from evolution.
