Code Geass. The whole idea of filling the series with characters who do evil and then having one character who is outstandingly good and decent, Princess Euphemia, and then killing her off less than halfway though the series is kind of disgusting. What is the point of the second season when the character who had 99 percent of all the goodness in the entire cast is already dead? how can there be any suspense in such a situation?

Firstly, good and evil are relative terms. Secondly, you can simply have suspense. You're telling me that all evil agrees and all good agrees? Two evils can go at it and make for an interesting plot. Lelouch basically killed off the remainder of the JLF, and Brittania is an oppressive superpower. Honestly what's not interesting about those two sides going at it?

Guess it's opinion, but hell I thought it was a great idea. Plus you left out Suzaku. He had good intentions as well.

Seriously...Elfen Lied disgusting, I didn't even think of it until I read it...
