Yeah I think it can help releasing the stress you have in a fight! But then, I don't really think that it can help you make stronger...I mean, it's really weird ne?

yup...it's like your safety valve for suppressed emotions...and those emotions could distract you...so if you scream these out...you get stronger...screaming is a part of life...from the first cry from the hospital to your last scream in your deathbed.

it adds morale.
it demoralizez some...which is a definite advantage
it signifies emotions when youre out of words...
it can just do anything...

Its not a anime thing, its taken from RL. It is called a warcry, armies would scream as they are charging the enemy. Makes a person more angry and less prone to be scaired. Plus its pritty common in Heavy metal shich is a music which makes u angry anyway.

There are many types of screaming
1. When you're getting hurt
2. To charge up like DBZ which i find ridiculous
3. When calling from far away
4. Crazy people scream a lot

on the topic well i been asking that myself when i watched DBZ

"What is there in screaming for a whole episode and still get beaten by antagonist"

Sheesh i find it pathetic

It actually can make you stronger. In my own experience while weightlifting I've had many a time when I let out a scream to get a weight up and it worked.

The screaming in of itself does not but it can get you psyched up and the adrenaline flowing which will give you greater strength. Proper breathing also help you maintain high levels of continuous activity.

Unless their hair shoots up and turns gold, various objects lining the ground suddenly rise up and float in the air and/or they suddenly develop a radioactive-like aura around them, then no.

even i real life there is a scientific explanation on that matter -
When a person screams at the top of his lungs, his body releases endorphins that hides an unknown amount of energy and might make him forget the pain of his wounds.
It also takes effect on the mental state of the person which gives him better focus in life-threatening situations.

You've got it backwards. They scream because they're getting stronger but screaming doesn't make them stronger.

Well, if you put it scientifically speaking, yes it actually does. Screaming is a battle cry, which equals an adrenalin rush; with the chemicals running through your body, you have a stronger output.

I believe that mangakas use this knowledge when drawing battle scenes where the characters do their "screams".

lol I sound like a nerd -gets shot-
