you see cussing was invented about half an hour after the first pokemon show aired because there was so much hype abut it and when it failed people needed to find a way to express their anger, sadness, and disgust all at the same time.

I don't understand why some words offend even though they have pretty much no meaning.

I'd be far more offended if someone came up to me and called me ugly than if someone walked up and called me a cunt :X

Curse words? It's a part of the language already, so why bother to hesitate? I call my friend my bitch, and she calls me bitch too in return. No bad feelings, since we both know that we don't mean the NEGATIVE meaning.

The day this happens, curse words will be used very less in normal vocabulary. The fact that curse words are obscene is the reason why they are also dubbed as "grammar enhancers." Once "shit," "fuck," and "asshole" becomes a common acceptance in society, nobody is gonna use those words as much anymore because those words would be as common as "egg," "head," and "fool."

Why is cursing/cussing bad? Does it say it in the bible that its bad or is it because it just is? Where did bad words come from?Ive wondered this for a while.

The cursing that the Bible talks about is referring to actually putting a curse on someone.
I'm not saying that it's ok to use "bad words", but those fall under moral grounds, not Christianity. It's all up to you and your principles of how you talk with people.
