I agree with the people that said Berserk, Onepunch-Man, and One Piece. Feng Shen Ji is a manhua but has amazing art as well.

This is a pretty good list, I want to also add Blade of the Immortal to it though. That's an all-star artists list then!

1. In these words: (BxB, 18+, VERY nsfw. Don't google it if you're minor or don't like that kind of stuff. Images linked are SFW, obviously. Ah, also! It's not japanese.) Frankly, it has the most stunning art I've ever seen in BL.

Backgrounds are rather simple tho?

2. Hansel and Gretel: (Potential readers be aware that this one can be quite disturbing!) It's pages can become a little cluttered at times, but stunning anyway. Reading it is like watching a short movie. Yup, it just flows that well!

3. Swan: VERY generic 80's shoujo style, but the dance scenes are gorgeous and fluid. It's also clean (overall) and very delicate.

Special mentions:
- Red Garden (Quite clean for an horror manga?)
- Oh! Great's works
- Merry Checker (again, BxB,18+. Has a mature, yet adorable style.)
- Kuroshitsuji (So detailed, but so clean at the same time!)
- Shinrei Tantei Yakumo
- Rozen Maiden/Shugo Chara (Baby faces? Check. Frills? Check. Sparkles? Check.)

Also I have to agree with "The bride of the water god", "Vagabond" and "Berserk". Stunning art!

I feel like Oda got much better at drawing with One Piece. Dressrosa and Fishman Island looked beautiful!

Masakazu Katsura, mangaka of Video Girl Ai, makes some of the most detailed manga out there. From the character designs, clothing, and backgrounds. His work is amazing.

His manga I"s is featured here:

It's published by Viz in the USA, so if you want to read it, why don't you go buy a volume rather than reading illegal scanlations. >_>

At the moment my favorite artists are Ohmori Aoi (author of Phantom Wizard, Soul Gadget Radiant), Ohtaka Shinobu (Sumomomo Momomo, Magi: Labyrinth of Magic), Fukushima Teppei (Samurai Usagi), Mori Kaoru (Otoyomegatari AKA A Bride's Tale) and Suzuki Julietta (Karakuri Odette, Kamisama Hajimemashita). They are all very unique in their own ways, and that's why I love them! I won't say they're the best since visual taste is subjective, but they're definitely number one for me ^^

I also love Otoyomegatari - very unique and depicts life in the Mongolian steppe! Both landscape and character costumes are gorgeous.
Chinatsu no Uta also has great backgrounds that give a lush Japanese summery feel.
Peak (by Im Ganghyeok) is a korean webtoon that covers the beauty of all four seasons on a mountain. Personally, I like the body structures of the characters, too.
