Very true.. it's a real American comfort- food rib-sticker kind of meal! A salad is a good recommendation!

Next time I'm going to alter the recipe into a lesser fat recipe, the cream could be replaced with some flour stirred in milk. Also I skipped the herbs in the recipe, I used French mixed herbs so I won't have to buy another kind of herb.

Yes the cream is what makes it heavy. When I make quiche I always use lowfat milk instead of cream... Im sure that could be done with this too.

So for those who didn't make the recipe, if you aren't used to heavy creamy food like me, use cream with lesser fat. Or if you are allergic to lactose, you can use soya based milk or why not some rice milk?

DG!! I have failed you and Legend Im so sorry about the lobby! I didnt know the flame was set on high! Here...*opens purse wallet here I pay for whole NEW lobby! Hands Legend 10 thousand dollars in cold hardcash counting out fast one hundred dollar bills* OK that oughtta cover the entrywaymmmmmheres 20000 thousand more for lobby( andstuff that was in it) ohhhh and heres 50ooo apiece for not pressing charges and ohhh here is an ALPHA FEMALE BONUS to Legend for being such a cool creator!! Luv you all...Be better next time. XD I am still going to make the Chicken Pot Pie though...Its my hubbies favorite meal.

Lol, are you saying you missed the deadline? The deadline has been prolonged to let Deviantgirl catch up due to her moving not be able to make the pot pie. But I think Pam is so generous and kind that she is willing to let you have until 8th June to finish the challenge

one day the pot pie shall be made... my mother killed it for me.. she bought *sob sob* microwave pot pies...

OK...I checked in and refuse to move on until my first mission is complete!! I have everything except cream and wine (tequila probably wont work)especially since it is supposed to be teaching me how to not FEAR the kitchen...MAKE THE KITCHEN FEAR YOU!! Wait....do I have that right?? *looks befuzzled but I look that way all the time* Ok Im going to the store and Roger is going to eat it tonight!! YEAH!! Poor Roger. Ill post it tomorrow or tonight if I get it together but I want to watch UFC fights so most likely tomorrow.

*sitting here all black with sooty ashes looking at you goggle image perfectly outlined on face* I blew Chicken everywhere! Holy crap I didnt know c-4 would do THAT! On mythbusters.com they were trying to cook popcorn by blowing it up so I thought ..HEY! Ill take that extra bit of string and a nugget of c-4 plastered inside the chicken because i wanted a GOLDEN BROWN carmalization with butter wine and challots before I actually put it in my pie....well dAAAAAmmn! Boom yall! Big crazy anime eyes! Ill try again tomorrow at the neighbors!
