Seriously, I was juz wondering if this is really the end of the human race?

For example, this swine flu has infected many and it has a pandemic potential. Plus the virus keep on mutating so...you never know. What if this virus does spread around the world and destroy the human race? It could happen. (You can thank this idea to anime and video games overload.)

And plus, we are having global warming and war. We might probably either die from bombing each other or die under mother's nature plan.
Any plan will still cause our death...

So is it really the end of the human race?
(Maybe, I'm just paranoid)

Pollute the world until it cannot be polluted anymore, and then screw it and let the later generation take care of it.

nahh. Those humans! they're like roaches! you think you've killed all of them, but more keep popping up...

To tell the truth, humans are really spoiled with all our antibiotics and antivirals we have these days. Back when these things didn't exist, a woman could have 5 kids and expect to lose 3 to infection. And they got along fine back then. Even the 1918 Spanish flu, at the most liberal estimates, only killed 5% of the world population.

We should be far more concerned with us nuking the shit outta ourselves, since that poses a far greater threat.

Well... I don't think there is really a yes or no answer for this. The swine flu hasn't hit an all-out world wide breakout or anything so I would answer your question with "No.", but yes it has a deadly potential. The Black Plague that happened in Europe in the 14th century wiped out like 30-50% of Europe's population, if it were have spread to the North or South America it could have annihilated another large amount of the world's population. Still though it was contained with-in Europe most likely due to the problem of the disease having to cross international waters to make it to us since it WAS like in the year 1300-something.

What happened to SARS? Or Tuberculosis? At one point those diseases were causing panic world-wide. There's lots of things that can kill us, I'd be more worried about us running out of resources. I just think there's a little more difficulty for us to survive, but it's not like our ancestor's haven't gone through similiar situations we have. Right? (Minus global-warming and Angry Cow disease)
