She liked Makoto from the beginning. That's the only reason she selflessly tried to help him out with Kotonoha (until her feelings overwhelmed her). I think she only did that because it would have been too hard for her to approach him when she knew he only liked Kotonoha at first. And when things heated up, she immediately wanted him to end it with Kotonoha (whom he obviously felt nothing for), and she felt like crap throughout all of that, but was too head-over-heals to be able to stop what was happening.

Also I really like her personality. She's strong and outgoing on the surface, but when you really get to know her she's a little fragile and she can be really sweet (like cooking that entire meal before Makoto decided to be a jerkface and run away from his obligations again). Sekai all the way!

Sekai would be a great choice too, especially when she made clear she was pregnant, makato should've committed his life to her but he didn't.
Either choice would've done at the start, but I personally started to hate Makoto, I gasped everytime he took a step further with his cheating... what a cunt.
Oh well, I can't complain... the ending was great, unexpected, but great.

Let me tell you all,the only character you can even deem as selfless is Setsuna.Sekai is as selfish as anyone and totally undeserving of Setsuna's affections but since everybody was always saying it is human to be selfish and all that,she can't be blamed or like it seems You may find me a little biased but this is what it really is.The bizarre ending didn't do any justice for her,her presence was even overshadowed as a result.

In the end,the only two true victims are Setsuna and of course Kotonoha.

I'll pick Setsuna of course.
