Kazuya Kamenashi is making his big screen debut in the upcoming "Gokusen" movie, it was announced on Wednesday. Kamenashi previously co-starred with Yukie Nakama in the second season of the television drama in 2005.

In the drama, Kamenashi played the role of Ryu Odagiri, the delinquent leader of Class 3D. Now, Odagiri is returning four years later as a teacher in training, teaming up with his former teacher "Yankumi" (Nakama).

The movie's cast also features students from the show's third season and subsequent special, including Yuya Takaki, Haruma Miura, and Yuta Tamamori. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on July 11.


this is indeed a very good news for me. at least one of them is there.

So what do yo think? will they end up together?

eh! honto? yays! ODAGIRI is back!!!! i dont think they'll end up together... i think yankumi should end up with hayato!

Ryu as a teacher ~intresting but i think if there`s no Hayato then it wont be great since i think Hyato is why Ryo Shined

i would be agreeing if it was Hayato Xyankumi cause theres chemestry there :rolleyes:

but why do i think it is not fair for jin? i mean.....i don't know how to say it...
I agree to say that Ryu shine because of hayato. I don't know why they don't want to include hayato here and why only Ryu? Is it because to make up Kame's drama that doesn't seem have a good rating? Kami no Shizuku, right?
Sorry, if someone here is Kame's fans. I love Gokusen but if it is only Ryu, I will not so excited to watch it because i only like Kame when he is with Jin. However, i hope this movie will succeed and i hope Jin will get more chance to have his individual task because looks like 2009 is not Jin's year, more to Kat-Tun's year.

it would have been better if jin is in the film too. and why is that most of the cast are coming from the 3rd one?
this is just my opinion but i guess this film will be a lot happier and much more anticipated by the fans if many from gokusen 1 and 2 will be present. :))

I so agree with you but even though Kame is a good actor Jin really should`ve been the one who`s back even though they are trying to make up for KnS Gokusen should include hayato cause i think in the 2nd season he was the one who had the best roll
Jin this year is barely having anything unless they`ll let him do his own Solo con or new Drama soon before BandAge

as i read they say the the third has the best rating among the three & story so they are the main focus here
or maybe cause they think the 1st class are too old for the roll cause mostly the kids of the 3rd one are really alot *dont kill me fans*
i wonder what do they mean by only Ryu coming back does that mean there wont be any of the 1st season
as Jin said Hayato Died or went overseas to La to study
Imo they want BandAge to be Jin`s Debute not Gokusen
