Does that mean all 113 episodes will be released? Signed up just to watch this series.

If ALL the episodes are released, I will likely buy premium membership again. The only reason I didn't renew the first time was because this series was never finished.

Funimation are gonna be showing the entire series for free, without a region lock. They already have complete Captain Harlock & Fist Of The North Star.

Excellent, entire series is up except for episode 69.

Pity it had to be all uploaded weekend before finals

EDIT: Funimation has it up as well and they have the missing episode 69.

I'm assuming that CR is releasing the members only lockout that consisted of ep 1-61, and allowing all members to view the entire series now (Instead of 2 ep a week up to 34 as sit had been prior to this week) as a result of FUNI's decision to stream GE on their website as a prelude to the N. American DVD release of the series? (Prior to last week paying members could view up to ep.61, now it appears both paying and non-paying can view all 113)

I'm so happy to have found this website. Truth be told, I thought I would never see anything even close to a domestic release of any of Matsumoto's 'older' work.

Sadly, the attitudes towards series of yesteryear don't get as great a reaction as I would have liked unless the reaction was from anime fan veterans from the seventies, eighties and so on.

I had made it a point to get almost everything Leiji has ever done, be it domestic or otherwise. To have Captain Harlock and G.E. 999 is truly a great day for the 'old school' fan. No, I'm not as old as the series lol but I can truly recognize a great work and a truly great work transcends simple things like time. These characters are some of the most beloved in the rich history of anime. Characters like the enigmatic Maetel to the courageous Captain Harlock.

What I am saying is that for those of you would normally look away because it is 'old,' 'primitive,' the characters aren't the prettiest, the animation isn't as fluid as todays, just understand that this was all hand drawn and has a heart that perhaps you don't see in your 'Narutos' and 'Full Metal Alchemists,' and 'Inu Yasha's.' Understand that you wouldn't have the new works of today without the ground breaking pieces of yesterday. These pieces were done when anime was still paving its own way for new art styles like todays, new comics and new opportunities even for those of you who even want to do manga inspired comics.

All art and all artists should be respected and this series is no exception. So if you are thinking of just passing it by, maybe give it a second look and get ready for a magical space odyssey, comparable to that of 'The Little Prince." Maybe it'll teach you a bit about the rich history of this wonderful art style and at the very least give you a great story with wonderful art.

Good luck on your journey, may we meet someday in this vast sea of stars.
