Practice from past papers, do questions from the textbook! The key to success in Maths is practice. Be sure to do some questions under exam conditions to minimise the chances of mistake in the actual exam! Good luck

Nope, Maths is about PRACTICING. There's no way you can memorise maths workings. You only read the notes to understand the formulas and learn them. You can't read maths solutions and memorise them. It's DO and DO, repeatedly.

Just do these 3: 1) Learn the formulas from your notes. 2) Pratice on your tutorial/Assignments- Make sure you know what's going on. (Practice is not equivalent to reading solutions) 3) Do some past year exam papers.

Maths is not about scientific facts.

this is what i do: memorize the formulas, have the notes i copied in class beside me, and do all the questions in the unit from 5pm-4am XD but of course, take breaks in between to relax your brain and if there is question you come across that you dont know how to solve or whatever, circle it and ask whoever knows how to do it.

i did this for my logarithm test and i got 90% on it ^^

hnng... im still in the 7th grade so its not too hard YET

remember all of the formulas.
think logically. (i mean, if there's a question that makes u thinks round-and-round think hard the way to answer the question)
check ur answers after u finished it.
exercise answering math questions xx-times a week.

most important :
study hard.
actually, i dont need to study whenever there's a math exam. its not just like history subject, u must remember all of the fucking histories. just remember the formulas n u r done.

The best way to do it in my opinion is do LOTS of practice papers...

then mark them yourself

that way you get practice doing papers and you get to see where you're weak points are. Once it is fully marked give yourself a grade

then get the things you struggled with and practice them by finding questions involving that subject and doing them. Also making up questions is a good way to do it because you are focusing on the subject from a different angle, so it will stick in your brain for longer.

I just study formulas and procedures and that's it. For math you don't really need to study that much.
