the joy of a new born is the must greatest thing that happens to you and your soulmate but why is the baby crying? i always thought about that.

Answer: Babies cries allows their lungs to expand since their lungs are not in use inside the womb. It starts the breathing process for neonates.

it makes me laugh that just b/c u created this thread ppl thought u were a pregnant woman when ur a guy. that was just funny. As for pregnancy, i'm not sure yet if i ever want it to happen to me, i mean the weight and the weird cravings and the cramps and the puking and then the actual birth. Adoption would work just as well for me.

Also babies cry and scream b/c thats the only way they communicate, I mean it's not like they can write u a letter or send a txt message.

As we are on this topic, I heard that men find pregnant women sexy, and wondered; why?

Joys: You feel a seperate life, connected to you within your own being.
You stuff yourself with food and no one bats an eyelid.

the reason the baby is crying is because it is cleaning its eyes. tears clean your eyes out of infections and other bad stuff. it could also be crying also from the pain of being pushed through its mom

Wow. I thought they were just afraid of their new surroundings or something

Both of my best friends are married and pregnant. I know I'm still young, but I can't help but feel envious and that I'm falling behind...

Yeah, because they're used to the womb right?? That's what my mom told me 0.o and she had 2 kids *me n my bro.* I figure that means she knows somethin about it..then again some people here mighta had even more kids >_>

I thought it had something to do with oxygen. =S
Because, if the baby doesn't cry, it means they don't have a good source of oxygen.

A good thing is you don't get your period for 9 or so months haha! But yeah, best advice: Don't do it until you're married. Because if you get pregnant and you're not married or engaged, then that guy will most likely run off. I'm not in any hurry to have a kid. My mom just had a baby a few days ago. But yeah another good thing is you get to eat and no one will complain! haha But there's no way for it not hurting so bad. Unless they make you so high on pills when you're in labor but I mean, you'll feel the pain when the pills die down.

babies are so cute..and not all of them cry and keep you awake all night. My mom said i barely cried and i knocked out once the lights were off, and my cousin's daughter is the same way, but my sister-in-law's daughter keeps her awake all night so I guess its different for every baby. I think they cry because they're getting used
to their lungs, since the baby wasnt able to use them while it was in the mothers womb.

I have so many cousins with kids that i feel out of place and the babies are all so cute that i feel like having my own. [i am engaged so CHYEAH!]

other joys:
-all you can eat and no one says shit
-clothes shopping necessary! [even though the clothes are probably gonna be like.
..3 times larger than normal]
-hormonal attacks can get you out of any situation [yell at your next door neighbor
for being a bitch and she will not retaliate]
-paid vacations [um hello, your preggy. obviously, they have to let you leave work
at some point or another]
-no periods [yay! no icky for 9 months!]
-gifts gifts and more gifts [most likely, people will buy you so many things for your baby that you wont have to buy things on your own ^^]
-free food [in california, they give free food like eggs, milk, cereal, and baby milk
powder for free for the first few months after the baby is born.]
-more attention from your husband/lover/& or family [self explanatory. they wont
leave you alone]
-name choosing [always fun to figure out what to call the kid (i'd jst go with
"hey you" lmao jk)]
-baby showers, parties, etc etc [WOOT WOOT. WHEREDAPARTYAT!?]
-having someone call you mommy [awwww...*tear*]

i could've thought up more but I'm hungry. >.>;;
