[Fanfiction] Bloodstruck Brothers

The sun was rising upon japan,the birds were singing and all was very peaceful, well.......until.......

"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!"

"AGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Kiri awoke with a start

"THE DINOSAURS ARE INVADING!!!MUMMY!"

The 13 year old dove under her covers and curled up into a little ball screaming. Kiri is NOT a morning person. She was still screaming when her mum walked in and turned off the alarm, in fact, she was still screaming when the alarm had been turned off.
I repeat: Kiri is NOT a morning person. She was hugging puppy, her toy dog ( )when she realised that it was her alarm waking her up.
She blushed from head to toe before slowly peeking her head above her duvet to make sure no one was there to see how embarrased she was.
She tried to get out from her bed, and failed. Some how in Kiris screaming fit, she had actually wrapped herself up in her duvet and tied it into a knot around her.Again, Kiri is NOT a morning person

"Oh for pity's sake! Not again!"

This happened alot.........seriously, like, almost every day. Due to her "tangled" situations Kiri was quite flexible and able to work her way out of situations with relative ease. Today was no exception, She untangled herself and went to climb down the ladder of her cabin bed. She missed and landed face first on her pink carpet.Kiri,need i say it, is DEFINATELY NOT a morning person. She felt the softness of her floor on her face, and she slowly started to drift back to sleep.

"KIRI-CHI! GET UP GET UP GET UP GET UP GET UP GET UP GET UPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!"


Kiris POV
My "sisters" shrill ,sugar rushy,voice pierced the what had been, silence.

"Ohayo Kiwi-Chan"

I muttered still lying face down on the carpet.

"Why are you so *damn* happy this early in the *damn* morning?"

This was a stupid thing to ask. Kiwi was ALWAYS happy.......ALWAYS.

" It's a half day, remember!"

She had been sitting on a tree outside my window, but now she had grabbed hold of the top of the window and swung into my bedroom.

" Oh My God! It lives! The horror! THE HORROR!!!!"

I hit my head with my palm.

"Kiwi-chan, I have just woken up! Please turn the volume down! In fact, rip it off and throw it out the window!"

Me and Kiwi are best friends even though she's 15 and I'm 13, So she considers me her little sister. Which according to Kiwi means that she can kick me, Bite me, Tackle me to the floor and basically hurt me in any way........yippee.
I stood up and slowly opened my eyes.

"Too Bright..."

I shielded my eyes from the sun that was glaring through my window, and reached into my wardrobe to get my school uniform.(It's the same as the uniform in shugo chara, but I personalized it! I will also be posting illustrations up soon!)
I shut my wardrobe and turned around to see Kiwi less than an inch away from my face.

"BOO!"

She shouted cheerfully. Now, When someone is placed in a situation like this, there body has 3 normal reactions: Fight; As a reflex You often hit the person that shocked by accident, Flight; You run away or Flinch; That ones kinda self explanatory! Now, I said that the body has 3 NORMAL reactions......Believe me NOTHING in my life is normal. So,

"BOO!"

.....I fall to the floor ,with one leg twitching, screaming my head off!( yes this does happen to me.....a lot!)

"Oh My God! Gomen Nesai Kiri-chi! I didnt know you would do that!"

Its not really that much of an apology considering she was crying with laughter, the whole time she was trying to help me up. She grabbed my hand and pulled me up, still laughing like a maniac. I stood up and dusted myself off, picked up the school uniform i had dropped on the floor due to shock, and walked over to my bedroom door.

"Stay here while I go and get dressed. And PLEASE stay out of trouble!"

Kiwi saluted me whilst saying,

"Yes Ma'am! Anything else Ma'am?"

I just shut my door and went into the bathroom to get dressed.


Kiwis POV
"somethings wrong with her!"
My "something is wrong with Kiri radar" was going mental! Who am I kidding, I dont have radar! But if I did it would be AWESOME! Anyway, back on topic! What is wrong with her?
"Hmmmmm.............."
I climbed up onto Kiri's bed and lay down.
" Ahhhhhh.......comfy"
I felt myself falling asleep, I rolled over to try and get comfy when something sharp stabbed the back of my neck.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?"
I searched all over Kiri's bed, looking for the little git that had left me with a punctured neck. I lifted up her pillow with a glare on my face.
"AHA! Found you!"
It was a charcoal pencil.
" E-Eto......I know Kiri-chi likes drawing but drawing in her sleep is just a tincy bit freakish."
At that moment Kiri walked into the room. She looked much more prepared for the day.
Instead of her baby pink and black silk pajamas she had changed into her uniform.
And instead of chestnut hair that looked like 10 hurricanes had a rave, she had brushed it and parted it neatly to the side with a clip.
The clip was her favourite one, she had made it about a year ago, It had a interwining sun and moon on it and she hardly ever wore it with fear of damaging it. This just confirmed that something was wrong.
"Is something wrong? You seem really out of it."
Kiri just shook her head.
"You came here really early! If we left now school wouldnt start for about 30 minutes yet!"
She was desprately trying to change the subject, and failing miserably. So I held up the pencil.
" And why did Kiri-chi have a pencil in her bed? And what did she draw!?"
I love Kiri-chi's drawings! They are always so wierd and different to most other drawings.
"I didn't draw anything OKAY!"
She sounded very agitated this morning, and she wasn't doing a very good job of hiding the fact that she was cramming her sketchbook into her bag.
Does she think I am an idiot?! why am i asking myself this?
"Awwwwwwwww! Kiri-chi wont show me her drawing! Let me see! C'mon!"
I pounced on her from her cabin bed and knocked her to the floor.
" KIWI-CHAN! GET OFF ME!"
I stood up because she had screamed in my ear.
"Tell me whats wrong or show me the drawing! Simple!"
I made my point so my lil' sis sat up and said
"Fine! But..............."
A tear rolled down her cheek. Why doesn't she want tell me what happened?

No-one's POV

A tear streamed down Kiri's face. She quickly wiped it off, she hated it when people worried about her.
" I-I.......I had a bad dream last night, A-And some other stuff happened......"
Kiri was obviously reluctant to tell Kiwi what had happened but ,now that kiwi wanted to know what happened she had to say ,or face being tortured until she spilt the beans.
"What stuff?"
"I-I'll tell you the dream first...........that way........"
Kiri's voice went so quite that her big sister couldnt hear the end of the sentance.
Another tear trickled down kiri's face and splashed onto her skirt.
She pulled over a beanbag for her and Kiwi before sitting down one of them

" I-I was walking home from.....ummm....... I can't remember"

She shook her head and tried to calm down before continuing.
She took a deep breath and carried on.

" I was bored so I decided to go through the park. It must have been late because it was almost pitch black.........I-I was just walking past the fountain when I H-Heard something behind me......"

Kiwi was looking at her sister was a small look of worry on her face.
Kiri saw this and immediantly felt guilty, She carried on hoping to get this over and done with as soon as she could.

" I turned round just in time to see a shadow go behind one of the bushes. Not wanting to know what was there, I turned around to carry on heading home......but........"

Kiri had even more tears streaming down her face.
Kiwi didn't really know what to do, she wasn't very good at dealing with these kind of situations.
She put one hand on her shoulder and told her to keep speaking

" When I turned around again......everyone was......the blood........"

Kiri was shaking badly and she had so many tears falling onto her school uniform Kiwi thought that she might have to change again ,it was so wet.

"E-Everyone was lying O-On the f-floor dead......T-there was....blood everywhere.....s-so m-much blood"

Kiri buied her head in her knees as her big sis just continued to stare at her.

" Was I there?"

Kiri nodded her head

" But you......y-you were still.....You were still a-alive! And y-you had so much b-blood coming from your n-neck! It was e-everywhere it was all o-over me and my h-hands and e-even my f-face!"

the 13 year old was shaking even more now, but she continued never the less.

" I panicked and t-tried to r-run.....but s-something grabbed my arm. I-I tried to get away,but I-it wouldnt L-let go! It w-wrapped it's arm around m-my neck! I-I looked up t-to see w-what the h-hell it was and..................there w-were a pair of v-violent reddy p-pink eyes s-staring at me. T-that was w-when i w-woke up screaming."

Kiri let out a little laugh and lifted her head up.
her eyes were red from where she had been crying, and her cheeks were flushed.
She rubbed her eyes and wiped away a few stray tears that were finding there way down her cheeks.

"It was just a dream, okay? Look at me! I feel great and the only blood coming from my neck is from where that stupid pencil stabbed me!"

Even though Kiwi said this, inside she was quite freaked out.
Kiri is normally completely oblivious to anything scary, in fact ,she's normally oblivious to everything!
Nothing scary would ever happen to her, even in her dreams, so something like this was just.....odd!

"But it gets worse......"

Kiwi's POV

"But it gets worse........"

What was she talking about? Had something else happened? She shook my hand off her shoulder and stood up. She walked over slowly to where she had put her bag and reached inside.

"Here it is....."

Kiri said as she pulled out her sketchbook. She walked over to me and dropped into the beanbag.

"I dont know what scared me more. The dream, how real it felt or.........this.........."

She handed me her sketchbook. I flicked through it slowly, looking at her drawings.
They were really good, she practically never stopped drawing, her school books were filled with anime pictures.
There were many pictures of me and her in there, I laughed a bit at what a poser i can be sometimes.

I turned the page and felt my mouth drop.
Across 2 pages was the most beautiful drawing i had ever seen.
It was a picture of a boy, he looked as if he was about kiris age, and had hair that hung around his face with a strand that stuck up at the top of his head.
It was really well shaded so i could tell that his hair was blonde and that he was wearing black trousers, a white top that was ripped and a black jacket.
Everything was perfectly shaped and the perfect size, but the thing that stood out the most was the eyes, the ony thing that had colour in them, they were a dark pink red colour.
They were only a drawing but you could lose yourself in those eyes and never want to look away from them.

"This is....absolutely......"

I was completely gobsmacked no matter how hard i tried to talk i couldn't get words to form, kiri looked up at me.
Her eyes had a lifeless glint to them and a look of digust on her face.
I didnt know how to react.
This drawing would make a professional feel bad, it was so realistic, and yet........Kiri seemed to hate it with so much of her being that it was litterally killing her.
It took me a while to figure it out but finally something in my mind clicked

"Is this the person in your dream?"

She just shrugged her shoulders.
Why is she always so awkward!?
I took a breath and tried again.

" Why are the eyes the only thing coloured in?"

Kiri sighed, almost as if she had been dreading this question. She stood up and walked over to her desk.

"I dont know why.......but I know.............how........."

She turned around to face me.

"Just please don't hate me......"

She whimpered quietly as she rolled up her sleeve.
WHAT DID SHE DO!
The sketchbook slipped from my hand as I jumped up and grabbed Kiri's wrist firmly. From her wrist to near her elbow was a long scarlet gash.
I looked at her in disbelief.
"Now can you see why I'm scared?"

No-ones POV

"KIRI! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING?!"

Kiwi was screaming at the top of her lungs as Kiri desperately tried to calm her down.

"Shut up!"

Kiri whispered, the last thing she needed was her parents to find out about this.
Kiwi stopped yelling but continued to look at her lil' sis with a look of betrayal on her face.

"I woke up like this! I didnt even realise it until I was getting dressed! I had no intention of doing this! I would NEVER do this!"

"But!"

" I swear on my life!"

Kiri cut off Kiwi's yelling, her big sis's face relaxed slightly as she let go off her wrist and pulled her into a hug.

"wait here"

Kiwi said simply as she ran to the bathroom to get the first aid kit.
When she returned, Kiri was sitting on her beanbag staring at the cut.

" Give me your arm."

Kiri held out her arm and winced slightly as her sister started to wrap up the wound.
Kiri just stared at the floor with a guilty look on her face.

" I'm sorry"

No-ones POV

"I'm sorry"
Kiri continued to stare at the floor, tears were sliding down her face and splashing onto her carpet. Kiwi didnt know how to react, inside she was absolutely furious but if she told Kiri that (or showed it in any way) she would have a breakdown. She looked like she was on the verge of one anyway.Kiwi swallowed and took a deep breath.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. You were asleep. Basically you were just sleep walking..............kinda."
Kiwi gritted her teeth and smiled, Kiri was obviously fooled because her expression lightened a bit, and she rolled down her sleeve.
"But what I want to know is, why was there only blood on the eyes and not the rest of the picture? Or even your bed or clothes for that fact?"
Kiri shook her head.
"One thing is for sure. And that's that I have no clue why or how the hell these things have happened."
That was all that Kiri had to say on that matter. She pulled out a pair of neon pink and black stripy socks (WOOT! I love my stripy neon socks! ) from her drawer and put them on. Kiwi looked at the clock.
"Kiri-chi! It's time to go!"

Kiri's POV

"Bye Bye!"
I said goodbye to my parents and shut the door. I turned and walked up the path out of my front garden, Kiwi had been sitting lazily on the fence, fiddling with her blue ipod shuffle.
"Earth to Kiwi-chan!"
This time, I made KIWI jump.
"EVIL!!!"
She said as she picked herself up from the ground, after falling backwards off the fence. She handed me one of her headphones and told me to put it in.
" I forgot to wear my cross tonight
I left my garlic at home

Kiwi is so much better than me at singing. She could sing with tonsilitis and still sound amazing, and she has enough confidence to sing. I don't. Normally I sing along really quietly but today I really didnt feel like singing along to a song about vampires. I took out the headphone and let it swing on the cable. Kiwi gave me a worried look, and I immediantly felt guilty.

"You okay Kiri-chi?"

Kiwi's POV

I saw Kiri take her headphone out and let it drop.

"You okay Kiri-chi?"

I was immediantly kicking myself inside.

YOU BAKA! She just had a nightmare about vampires and you put that song on! Baka baka baka baka baka baka baka!

"I'm okay.....just a bit of a head ache......"

I dont like it when people lie to me, but she lied for my benefit so I let it pass.

"Tough Morning, Huh?"

"hehe...Just a bit."

"I personally wish something like that would happen to me! You're really lucky you know!"

I was getting frustrated again

"Yeah maybe....anyway I dont really want to talk about it....."

We carried on walking in silence for a little while, I had something that I really wanted to talk to Kiri about but, she doesnt want to talk about it. Kiri kept glancing at me, each time with an even more annoyed expression.

"FOR PITY'S SAKE! STOP FIDGETING! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT!?"

She was obviously ticked off this morning so I did as I was told and spilled the beans.

"According to that cut on your arm, you should be dead. So......why aren't you?"

No-ones POV

As soon as Kiwi finished her sentance Kiri stopped in her tracks.
Her big sis didnt realise and carried on walking for a little while.
When she finally did realise and turned around she gasped and started to run towards where her lil' sis was unwrapping her arm.

"What do you think youre doing!? People will see it!"

She hissed through her teeth as she reached down and grabbed the bandage that had fallen on the floor.
When she stood up, the bandage slipped through her fingers and landed on the floor again.

"H-How did it?"

Kiwi couldnt even form a sentance.
Where the life threateningly deep cut had been just a minute ago, was a single pure white line that stood out on Kiris unnaturally pale skin.
Kiwi ran her finger down the scar, hardly believing it was real.
The 2 sisters looked at each other with looks of disbelief on their faces.
Kiwi's face was full of amazement and wonder at her sisters new "talent".
And Kiri......well.......Kiri looked like she was about to pass out.
Her face had gone deadly white and her cheeks had gone scarlet, giving the impression that she had a fever.
Her eyes widened and started to fill with tears, even her breathing had become shaky and seemed to cause her great pain.

Kiri's POV
What is this?! What the hell is going on!? Why isn't the cut there?! Where the hell did it go?! Oh my god...I can't cope with this....
"Kiri-chi!"
A voice snapped me back to reality.
"Are you okay?"
Kiwi seemed really concerned about me, She knew I hated it when people worried about me but she was giving me a look like that.
" I-I'm fine."
I tried to disguise my terror with a shaky (obviously fake) laugh.
" Whoa! I had no clue that I could do that! Guess I'm invincible, huh?"
I tried my hardest to sound cheerful but, acting is NOT one of my strong points. In fact......ALL of my points are pretty weak.
But I guess I got lucky as Kiwi immediantly smiled and did the superman pose
" I shall be "the flying Kiwi"! Protecting the world from the evil potatoes!" (she has actually said this )
She carried on talking about what powers she wanted to have on the way to school, whilst singing along to her ipod. I tried to get my mind off what had just happened by singing along, but it wasnt working. If you had seen us, you would have thought that we were just 2 ordinary girls walking to school. No-one would be able to see how alone and scared I felt at that very moment.
Little did we know that someone had seen un, seen everything, and with a flick of a tail they disappeared.

No-one's POV

Kiwi continued to sing along to her ipod, not caring that people were staring at them and trying not to laugh at them.
It may have been the fact that Kiwi was singing at the top of her lungs, or perhaps the fact that both of them were wearing extremely odd looking socks with their uniform.(I LOVE STRIPY SOCKS! I GOT 9 PAIRS FOR MY BIRTHDAY!)
Whatever it was, Kiri was blushing with embarrasment.
She hated it when people looked at her, let alone when they were laughing at her.
She reached into her bag and brought out her sketchbook and a pencil. ( I seriously don't stop drawing!)
She quickly flicked through it looking for a blank page to draw on, when she came across that picture again.
Kiri sighed as she turned the book around so she could see it properly.
Kiwi stopped singing and looked at the picture as well.

"I give up!"

Kiri handed the book to her big sis' and placed her hands behind her head.

"I give up trying to understand my life!"

Kiwi chuckled at Kiri as she watched her lil' sis' shut her eyes.

" I decided to do that a long time ago!"

Kiwi said as Kiri looked at her.

"Really?"

The 15 year old nodded and handed back the sketchbook,When an idea came to her mind.

" Hey! Since you give up at life, do you want to go to the park after 3rd lesson?"

Kiri's POV

"Ummmmmm..........why?"

I didn't really want to go to the park, especially after what happened in my dream.

"So you can get over your dream!"

I looked at Kiwi-chan with a *please don't make me!* look on my face. She rolled her eyes at me.

"OH C'MON! It's not like anything is going to attack you, And I'll be there!Please Kiri-chi!""

I could tell that Kiwi-chan was getting fed up with me always being so sensitive, and she did have a point.

"Fine! I'll go!"

Kiwi-chan immediantly smiled and hugged me while jumping up and down.

"YAY! We'll meet out here after 3rd lesson! BYE BYE!"

Kiwi-chan skipped the rest of the way to her classroom, I shook my head and laughed at her.

"And she's supposed to be the big sister!"

I continued to laugh as I walked into my classroom.

"KIRI-CHAN!"

My friends bombarded me as yet another school day began.

*3 hours later*
B-O-R-I-N-G!!
I HATE HISTORY!
The lesson has only got 10 minutes left, And I think I'm going to fall asleep! ( I usually do )
I slumped out on my desk, knocking my pencil onto the floor.
I was just about to pick it up when the teacher told us it was the end of the lesson.
I swung my head up and stared at the clock.

"......12:30........Whoa! That went fast!"

I started to pack up my things slowly, the dream was playing through my mind, as it had been ever since I woke up.
However, it only got to the part where something would place it's arm around my neck and I look into those deep pink eyes.Even though they were pink they looked like they belonged to a boy.
By now, I was walking out of the school gate.
I was completely mesmerized by those eyes, so much so that I walked straight past Kiwi-chan.

"AHEM!"

Kiwi-chan shouted in my ear, as I fell over screaming.

"KIWI-CHAN! DON'T DO THAT YOU BAKA!"

Kiwi-chan just stood there staring at me in shock, as I picked myself off the floor.

"G-Gomen Nesai Kiwi-chan! I shouldn't have yelled at you!"

I bowed at Kiwi-chan as she looked at me questioningly.

"It's okay......It's not that.........."

"Eh? Then, what's wrong?"

I stood up straight to see Kiwi-chan giving me a develish smile, that melted the hearts of all boys that saw it.
However, it made my heart freeze over.

"Oh crap! K-Kiwi-chan! What are you going to do!?"

I backed up quickly, think this was about to end with a very happy Kiwi-chan and a bruised and battered me!
Kiwi-chan took a few steps towards me.

"Did something happen at school today?"

I had no clue what she was talking about.

"Ummm....no,why?"

Kiwi-chan's smile had now intensified, giving me goosebumps.

"Do you have a fever?"

She really wasn't making sense.

"Why?!"

"JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION!"

Kiwi-chan caught me off guard and pulled me into a headlock.

"NO I DON'T! NOW- LET-ME-GO!"

I tried to break free of her grip, but to no avail. I mean, C'MON! It wasn't fair! She does rugby for petes sake!

"Then why were your cheeks the reddest I had ever seen them,when you walked past me daydreaming a minute ago!?"

Kiwi-chan released me and folded her arms.

"Ummm.....still not following you here!"

Kiwi hit her head against her palm.

"baka baka baka baka baka baka baka baka baka baka baka!"

Kiwi kept repeating under her breath.

"FOR PETE'S SAKE KIRI-CHI! ARE YOU SO DENSE THAT YOU DON'T EVEN REALISE THAT YOU WERE BLUSHING REALLY BADLY A MINUTE AGO!" (Yes! I am! )

I sweatdropped and gave Kiwi-chan another confused look.She sighed as she put one arm around my shoulders.

"Okay, let me say this PLAIN and SIMPLE.You have FINALLY GOT A CRUSH ON SOMEONE!"

Kiwi jumped up and down with joy as she screamed the last few words.

"No I don't. Boys are a total waste of time. Now calm down." (Just my opinion! Please don't kill me!)

Kiwi stopped immediantly and stared at me with puppy dog eyes,

"Then who were you thinking about?"

I thought about it for a while, when those haunting pink eyes appeared in my head again.

" YOU SEE!"

Kiwi scared the living daylights out of me again.

"THERE YOU GO AGAIN! WHO IS IT?! DO I KNOW HIM?! WHAT'S HE LIKE?! DOES HE LOVE YOU?! TELL MEEEEEEEE!"

Kiwi sounded like she was about to explode, so I answered every question.

"No clue, No clue, No clue, No clue and I don't have a crush on him!"

I started to walk away.

"Hey! Wait up!"

Kiwi-chan ran and caught up quickly.

"If you weren't thinking about a guy, What were you thinking about?"

No-ones POV

"I was thinking of that dream again."

Kiri admitted as they walked into the entrance of the park.
No-one was at the park, it was completely deserted.

" Oh yeah! Has anything else happened to your arm?"

Kiwi asked as her little sister shrugged and rolled up her sleeve.
Now there wasn't even a scar on her arm.

"That-is-AWESOME! Wait! Did you fake it?"

Kiri started laughing at her sisters question.

"hahaha! Do you really think I could pull that off?! No Way!"

Kiwi was quite easy to persuade, so she and Kiri carried on walking in silence, until Kiwi burst.

"BUT THEN WHY WERE YOU BLUSHING?!"

"Oh, shut up!"

Kiri replied laughing as she placed her hand over Kiwi's mouth.
A cold breeze whirled through the park, as Kiri's hair blew behind her and Kiwi's flew in front of her. (this does happen alot!)
The 13 year old chestnut haired girl, removed her hand from her sisters mouth, and glanced around her.

"Is it just me...... or has it gotten darker?"

Kiwi looked around as well.

"oh yeah!"

She shivered.

"A-and much colder!"

Kiwi did up her coat as her lil' sis turned to face her.

"Kiwi-chan. Can we leave please. Now."

Kiri's POV

I couldn't get the image of those eyes out of my thoughts.
It was like they put you into a trance, that same misty, vague feeling.
I took my hand off Kiwi-chan's mouth as an icy breeze whistled through the park, wrapping itself around us, and blowing our hair.

"The real devil child."

I thought to myself, as Kiwi-chan's hair flew in the wrong direction.

The wind seemed to snap me out of what felt like a daydream.
It had just turned 1:00 (13:00) and yet, light was fading fast.
A few streetlights flickered on ,casting a single beam of light onto the fountain.
The reflections danced on the water's surface,glimmering like stars.

"Kiwi-chan. Can we go please. Now."

I could feel my heart thudding against my chest, getting faster and faster the longer I stood there.
Little flashbacks of the dream came back into my mind, I didn't even remember half of them happening!

CRACK!
A shadowy figure.
Kiwi-chan standing there with blood all down her.
A pitch black egg.
A strange mark on her neck.
The bodies had now become one person's lifeless frame......mine.
And red.......lots of red.

A tear caressed my cheek and splashed down onto the concrete.

"Kiwi-chan! We need to go!"

She wasn't listening to me.

"KIWI-CHAN!"

"Relax! No-one's here! You're just paranoid Kiri-chi."

I felt like slapping her at that moment. (sorry Kiwi-chan!)

"I'm not paranoid! It's not supposed to be this dark in the middle of the day!"

She laughed at me.

"It's just the sun going behind a cloud!"

Kiwi-chan shielded her eyes and looked up to the sun, her mouth dropped and she pointed at the sky.

"hehehehe........call me crazy........but I'm pretty sure thats NOT a cloud."

What was she talking about?
I looked to where she was pointing and felt my mouth drop as well.

"A-AN ECLIPSE?!"

No-one's POV

Kiri and Kiwi were absolutely stunned.

"W-WHAT THE HECK?!"

"NO-ONE TOLD US ABOUT THIS! I'M PRETTY SURE THAT IT WASN'T ON THE TV EITHER!"

The moon had almost completely covered the moon now, leaving the 2 girls being swallowed by the darkness.

"K-kiwi-chan........."

Kiri was petrified. She tugged on her sister's sleeve desperately.

"Please!"

At that very moment, all of the streetlights turned off, and the sun disappeared completely.

CRACK!

The sisters spun around in the direction of the noise, just in time to see a shadow disapear behind the hardly visible bushes.
The 13 year old whimpered and grabbed onto her sister's arm.

"Calm down! It was probably just a cat! But if it helps, we'll go home now. okay?"

Kiwi sounded calm and rather bored, this seemed to calm her little sis' down a bit.
She nodded slightly, and let go of Kiwi's sleeve as she started to walk away.
Kiri started to run to catch up, but didn't get very far before her legs refused to move.

A shadowy figure pounced at Kiwi, as a piercing scream echoed throughout the park.
A single streetlight flickered into life to the left of where Kiri was standing, frozen.
In that single beam of light stood Kiwi.
A boy with midnight blue hair had one arm wrapped around her neck, and the other pushing her head to the side.
He moved his head close to her neck and opened his mouth, the light shone off 2 extremely sharp teeth that soon sank viciously into her neck.

"KIWI-CHAN!"

Kiri couldn't move, the only movement was the tears rolling down her cheeks.
The boy swallowed and slowly let go of her neck, but didn't take his hands off her.
Blood poured out of 2 deep punctures in her neck, and her face went pale.
The boy let out a low, almost mocking laugh, as blood dripped from his mouth onto the floor.

"Nice to meet you, Kiwi Valmont. Now,"

He loosened his grip

"Attack"

As soon as he let go, Kiwi lept at Kiri, knocking her to the floor.
She placed her hands around Kiri's neck and squeezed, as blood dripped from her neck onto her little sister's face.

"Kiwi-chan..."

Kiri desperately tried to shout, but couldn't get enough air. White lights were surrounding the edge of her vision.
Kiwi took one hand off of her sister's neck and placed it over her mouth to stop her attempted screaming.

"Oh Shut Up! You're going to die, So just let me kill you!"

Kiri could see everything fading away, she was only thirteen , she couldn't die yet.
This thought seemed to set off a spark in Kiri's mind.
She bit down hard on Kiwi's hand and at the same time, kicked her in the stomach.
Kiwi released her, and backed up hurriedly.

"How Dare You?!"

A pitch black egg with a red rose appeared next to Kiwi.

"Atashi no kokoro, Unro"

Before she could finish her sentance, the boy grabbed her arm.

"Stop! Not now!"

Kiri's POV

"Stop! Not now!"

WHO THE HELL IS HE?! WHAT DID HE DO TO KIWI?!

I looked into Kiwi's almost lifeless eyes, she had just tried to kill me and nearly succeeded.......so why was she smiling?
Her almost black eyes had burned into a violent red, and her skin had been drained of all colour.

"K-Kiwi..."

She turned her back to me.

"Whatever. Let's go Ikuto-kun."

I assumed the boy was Ikuto, but that was all I could work out.
I was still lying on the floor, Kiwi's blood was mixing with my tears, and streaming down my face.

No-one's POV

They began to walk away, as Kiri just lay on the floor, wanting to move desperately, but remaining stone still.
She slid her arms around Ikuto's chest, before staring at her little sister spitefully.

"Write your will. I'll be back"

She held on to Ikuto tightly as a pair of ears and a tail appeared on him.

"Pleasant dreams....lil' sis!"

She said mockingly, as she and Ikuto jumped onto a streetlight. They were about to jump again, when.....

"Coward."

Kiwi stopped.

"What did you call me?"

She turned around to see Kiri standing, staring at the floor. Her hair was completely covering her face, showing off the back of her hair she had dyed blonde.

"I called you a coward. Instead of attacking me off guard."

She clenched her fists, so hard that a trickle of blood ran down her hand.

"How about we have a real fight huh?! Sister to SISTER!!!!"

Kiri swung her head up menacingly as she screamed the last word. She stuck out her palm, as a ball of pink and black flames formed in it.
First the sleeve of her black school shirt caught fire. Then the rest of her shirt. Then her skirt. Until she as completely engulfed in fire.

Kiwi stood in shock as she watched her little sister being potentially killed.

"She's going to kill herself!"

Ikuto grinned

"Less work for us to do then!"

Kiwi smirked, as the fire dissappeared.

Her little sister stood there, without a single burn on her, no sign of any injuries. And yet Kiri wasn't standing there.

Her hair had grown from shoulder length chestnut hair, to knee length golden brown curls. With a headress that had a symbol of the clip she had on earlier. Her hazel eyes had transformed to almost neon pink which melted into neon purple.
Even her clothes had changed, from her black jacket, red plaid skirt and pink and black socks to a boob tube covered with a pink corset with black sleeves that started at her shoulders and ended past her hands, and a pinky red skirt that ended just above her knees and stuck out at the edges.The skirt was adorned with lace netting, with a long swirling pattern decorating it.

"Well? You ready?!"

She pulled a sword out from a belt hanging around her waist

"BRING IT ON!"

Kiwi yelled as she jumped off the streetlight.

Ikuto groaned and sat down on the streetlight.

"Oh God....she's going to be a handful. Let's just hope she kills her quickly!"

Kiwi landed elegantly on the floor and stared at her lil' sis with an almost amused look on her face.

"Love the outfit! What a difference 10 seconds make!"

She said mockingly.

"Whatever, Are we going to fight or not?!"

Kiwi smirked as Ikuto got mad.

"HEY! THAT'S MY SMIRK! I'M SUING YOU FOR COPYRIGHT!

Kiwi rolled her eyes.

"YOU DO THAT! *like you'd have the guts*"

she added under her breath.

"Now, I think we've put this off long enough, let's get started!"

A red rose appeared on her cheek, as a scythe materialized in her hand. She raced towards Kiri, the scythe shining in the very little light.
Kiri swung her sword up efortlessly and blocked her attack and many others, as Ikuto stared, open mouthed at the two girls.

*Remind me NEVER to get on the wrong side of EITHER of them!*

The sword and scythe continued to clash, scattering sparks everywhere, which illuminated the surrounding blackness.
The eclipse showed no signs of moving any time soon, even though it had lasted over 10 minutes.
Regardless of this, Ikuto was looking up at the sky, with a look of deep worry carved on his handsome features (kiwi wrote that )

*that little girl is putting up a good fight! who is she anyway?! Did kiwi say she was her little sister? they do kinda look alike, well before she transformed, UGH! I don't know!*

"Kiwi! Hurry up and kill her already!"

Kiwi rolled her eyes.

"Yeah yeah! It's harder than it looks!"

She flipped out of the way of the sword, nearly being stabbed, as Ikuto face palmed.

"Do you want me to kill her?! I'll do this quicker than ANY girl could!"

Another scythe suddenly rocketed out of Kiwi's hand missing Ikuto by millimetres.
His face went white and he turned his head to face the scythe, that was stuck in a tree a few metres away.

" Do you SERIOUSLY think a girl couldn't kill someone?!"

She carried on dodging Kiri's attacks as Ikuto finally found his voice.

"I take that back! but hurry up!"

Kiri pushed away Kiwi's scythe and thrusted her sword at her violently.
She blocked and countered it.

"You're a pathetic, stuck up, self obsessed, obnoxious drama queen, that EVERYONE even your own family have been pretending to love!"

She smacked her scythe across Kiri's stomach, tearing her corset, leaving a deep gash in her stomach, and many other grazes and bruises from where she had been knocked to the floor.

"You see!"

She hissed through her teeth, as she started to walk over to where she had hit Kiri.

"You don't even deny it!"

Little did Kiwi know that she COULDN'T deny it. She had always known this was true, and lying was someting she didn't like to do.
It still felt awful to have someone confirm this.

A tear gently carressed the 13 year old's cheek, as she looked up at her sister.

"You worthless waste of skin!"

Kiri's eyes overflowed, splashing onto the floor, she looked like she had just witnessed everything she ever known and love, being murdered in front of her eyes.
And in many ways, it had been.
The tears continued to flow down her face, leaving winding trails down her grazed cheeks.

Kiri gave a spiteful smirk at Kiwi (which made ikuto yell),

"Heh."

She slowly stood up and lifted her head, so she was staring Kiwi straight in her dead, and dying eyes.

"So. The truth finally comes out......ah well...."

She clenched her fists as her smirk intensified, turning into a snarl.

"I'M NOT TAKING ANYMORE OF THIS CRAP!"

She attacked her sister viciously.
Kiwi was blocking them, but had been taken by suprise and struggling to keep up with her.

"KIWI! WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME! GET A MOVE ON!"

She backflipped out of the way of one of Kiri's attacks.

"I KNOW!"

She was about to dodge another attack, but due to Ikuto's yelling, she was too slow.
The sword left a deep slice in her leg, sending her falling to the floor

Ikuto didn't even get to finish his thought, before he leapt off the lampost.
Kiwi shut her eyes in pain, and braced her self for an impact...
that never came.

"eh?"

she muttered almost silently, as she opened her eyes.
She was staring up into Ikuto's endless, dark blue eyes, she lost herself in them. Not even realising that she had her arms hung loosely around his neck, and that he was holding her bridal style.

"To hell with this! Sorry girlies, but this fight will have to be postponed!"

With that, he took off into the air, leaping as high and as far away as he could.
Kiri's 'unhappy' (for want of a better word) shouts, could be faintly heard behind them, but they couldn't care less about that right now.

"Mattaku! I told you we were running out of time, and what do you do?! You go and get hurt and completely ignore me!"

He had an angry look on his face, which Kiwi returned by rolling her eyes.

"Keep complaining Ikuto, I really find that attractive in a guy!"

She had am overwhelming urge to slap him at that moment, but a surge of pain cut her off before she could act upon it.

"You okay?"

He slowed down to a standstill and looked back over his shoulder.
He could just see the single streetlight in the distance, and the very small shadow of someone.
For a moment, he could have sworn he saw another person, and a flash of gold light, but shook it off.

"We'll rest here, there's no way she can catch up, and we're at the summoning point anyway."

Ikuto gently put Kiwi down on one leg on the grass, and steadied her when she almost lost her balance.
She tried to put some weight on her slashed leg, which instantly buckled and bled more.

"Hey!"

He caught her just before she hit the ground, and lifted her up into a piggyback.

"You are going to be such a handful! It's your first might and look what you've already done!"

"Oh, Bite me!"

She folded her arms looking very tsundere, as Ikuto stifled a laugh.
She blushed with embarrasment, and hid her face in his shoulder.

"well thats the stupidest thing on this planet to say to a vampire!"

She couldn't help but burst into a fit of laughter, and neither could Ikuto.
They carried on laughing until both felt a little light headed,and another wave of pain rocketed through Kiwi's leg, making her gasp.

"Here. Let me take a look at your leg."

he sat on the grass, and moved Kiwi around until she was sitting on his lap. He started to lift up her trouser leg, until Kiwi slapped him around the face. Hard.

"PERVERT!"

She put her hands to her mouth and sweatdropped.

"I'm SO sorry! that was a reaction! It was an accident! are you okay?!"

He let out a miniscule chuckle, trying to cover up the pain he was in.
regardless of that, Kiwi could see tears at the corner of his eyes, and a scarlet handprint forming across his face.

"I'm okay. Now, can I please look at the cut on your leg? That is, without any violence?"

She left out a guilty laugh and nodded.
He carefully rolled her trouser leg up to her knee, and looked at the cut.

"It's quite deep, that little girl must be a real pain in the neck! Hang on a sec..."

He quickly took off his jacket and tore it into a makeshift bandage, which he soon wrapped around her leg, making Kiwi's cheeks go red.
BADLY.

When he finished, he rolled her trouser leg back down and helped her to stand.

"that okay?"

She tentitavley put some wait on her leg and managed to stand on it.

"Much better thanks! H-hey Ikuto.....u-um......."

She went quiet as Ikuto looked at her.

"mm?"

She started to fidget really badly, as she stared at the floor, try not to look at Ikuto.

"U-ummm......it's just....."

Ikuto raised an eyebrow.
Kiwi took a deep breath before throwing her arms around his neck and kissing him on the cheek.

"th-thank you for making me a vampire!"

He smirked at the stammering girl, before he hugged her back.

"You're welcome, Your highness."

When he finished his sentance,a black mist surrounded them and they dissapeared into the darkness.

While all this was happening, Kiri was having her own little "run in".

Meanwhile Kiri was shouting as many curse words as she could think of, as the 2 vampires flew off into the night.

"Get Back here you ------- cowards!"

She dropped the sword which dissapeared in a shower of sparks, and took off after them.
She was fast, in fact, she was INSANELY fast. But it was hopeless.
She had no chance of catching up, they soon dissapearred into the blackness, but she carried on running regardless.

She shot past the shadow of someone, and suddenly stopped.
And not taking any notice of the person, she started cursing, and shouting as many violent things that had somehow polluted her pure mind.
She even went to kick a lamp post, but was held back.

"What the?! Let go of me you --------!"

She tried to break their grasp desperately, trying to kick them, punch them, and even bite them.
Needless to say, that Kiri was NOT happy.

"No way."

Even though the voice was quite soft, she could tell it belonged to a boy roughly the same age as her, which made her even more furious.

"LET ME GO YOU -------! GET THE ---- OFF ME!"

She was thrashing about, trying to get him off her.
Once or twice she nearly fell over, but he never lost his grip.

He pulled her close to him, and gently, but EXTREMELY firmly put an arm around her neck.
If she moved anymore she would probably have choked.
She stopped moving but carried on screaming.

"IF YOU DON'T ------- LET GO OF ME, I'M GONNA STICK YOUR HEAD SO FAR UP YOUR ------- --- THAT YOU COULD JOIN A ------- FREAK SHOW!"

"Now calm down, you're just tiring yourself out"

"WHAT THE ---- DO YOU KNOW?! MY ----- OF A SISTER JUST TRIED TO KILL ME! WHY THE ---- SHOULD I CALM DOWN?!"

"because it's not going to help you get her back, or get your revenge on her, whichever one you plan on doing."

"I, I DON'T, know actually..."

Her arms finally dropped to her sides, and her shoulders sagged.

"that's better"

He whispered into her ear.
She slowly lifted her head up to look at the boy that had stopped her from going physco.
As her eyes met his, she gasped. His eyes were a dark Rose scarlet.

"okay....thats not natural"

She couldn't take her eyes away from his, no matter how much she tried, she couldn't move.
But what astounded her most was that he hadn't looked away either, she was used to this kind of attention though.
At school, too many boys loved her, and occasionally a few girls loved her (this is actually true! it's kinda creepy), but she didn't mind this boy.

"Who are you?"

She wasn't expecting an answer, in fact, she had no clue what to expect, her head felt like it was caught in a whirlwind.

"Hotori Tadase, and you?"

"Kiri"

He raised an eyebrow

"Do you have a last name?"

She raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, but unless you plan on stalking me, you don't need to know that information."

The boy just stared at her, with an almost bored expression on his face.

"Okay then Miss Kiri, is it safe to let you go or are you going to try and kill someone else?"

She couldn't tell if he was joking or not, She HOPED he was joking, otherwise he would be on the floor screaming for his mother in a few seconds. She gritted her teeth.

"I'm fine. Thank you very much."

He released her and she immediantly walked over to where her bag had fallen off after Kiwi had tackled her.

"Why are you here Hotori-kun? There must be a reason."

She was rummaging through her bag, as a small headache formed at the back of her head.

"No reason. I was walking past, and heard shouting. I came over and saw you fighting with your sister, so I thought I'd better step in before someone got killed."

"Okay: Contradiction time: 1) if you were walking past we would have seen you, 2) If you were just walking past, how would you know she's my sister, and 3) You didn't step in when we WERE fighting, you came after we had been fighting. I'll have you know I don't appreciate being lied to Hotori-kun."

She rubbed the side of her head, and squinted, her head started to feel like it was being smacked repeatedly.

"Whoa, someone's been playing too many Pheonix Wright games recently. Anyway, What are you looking for?"

"My sketchbook, whats it to you?"

Her hand brushed against her sketchbook, and many other drawing books she had in her bag.

"aha! found it"

She pulled the sketchbook out of her bag, and stood up, only to start wobbling and almost go back down to the floor again.

"Miss Kiri, are you okay?"

Tadase ran up to her and put a hand under her arm keeping her balance.

"I-I'm fine! Just a headache, now leave me alone."

"No, I don't care if it's 'just a headache', sit down on the bench and relax."

Kiri slapped away his hand, and muttered something in audible (and unwritable),as she stumbled over to the bench.
Tadase sat down next to her and placed a hand on her forehead. He raised an eyebrow.

"You don't have a fever,maybe you're just tired."

Kiri gave him a death glare and growled.

"I've known you for 5 minutes, so don't start acting like you're my mum. Take your hand off my forehead unless you want me to bite it off."

He took his hand off and muttered something under his breath, which Kiri responded to by crossing her legs, opening her sketchbook and muttering curse words. She flicked through quickly, before looking back in her bag.

"Now what are you looking for? Or am I being too nosy?"

He said bluntly, as Kiri brought another Sketchbook up from her bag.

"The right sketchbook, And you're not being nosy, I intend to show you anyway. So shut your yapper and let me look."

She flicked through the sketchbook, and a few others. Tadase just stared and counted how many sketchbooks she had.

* 7. 8. 9. 10. bluddy hell! how much does Miss Kiri draw?!* ( I have a lot more sketchbooks than that in real life )

She flicked through her 11th book before handing it to him,and sitting back down on the bench.

"Look, it's a picture I drew of a dream I had last night."

He scoffed.

"What? Did you draw it in your sleep or something?"

She folded her arms and gave him a 'no ---- sherlock' look. He stopped in amazement, and didn't look at it, instead he kept looking at Kiri.

"W-What?!"

She winced as she said this, as her eyes darkened to red and to an almost black purple colour.

"Miss Kiri..."

She leant forward, and rested her head on her hands, staring at the floor.

"I'm fine Hotori-kun. Just look at the ruddy picture."

Once she had breathed the last word, her eyes shut. Tadase's expression turned from confusion, to shock, as Kiri toppled off the bench and landed on the pavement.

"Miss Kiri!"

He fell on his kness to the floor beside the 13 year old, and quickly felt her chest for a heartbeat (god that sounded perverted *shudders* lolz)
Her corset was obviously quite thick so her heartbeat felt faint, and her breathing was hardly visible.
He started to undo her corset, when her eyes flickered open ever so slightly.

"what do you think you're doing? you pervert."

She managed to say in an almost inaudible whisper. He finished undoing the corset and took it off quickly,leaving her with just the boob tube underneath.

"Helping you to breathe Miss Kiri."

She took loud sudden breaths as she shut her eyes again in pain.
All she could feel was a sharp stabbing pain in her head, and a constant sting across her stomach.
Her eyes flickered open again, to find Tadase putting one arm around her shoulders, and the other under her legs, and gently carrying her over to the bench.

"T-tadase-kun"

She whimpered as he laid her down on the bench. He started to walk over to her bag.

"Shush. You need to relax, that battle with Kiwi really drained you, you're lucky you came to a minute ago!"

"B-But, agh!"

Tadase quickly picked up her bag and came back over to the bench.

"What's wrong?!"

He didn't need to ask, it was fairly obvious. There was a big gash on her top, and a deep cut on her stomach. Blood was seeping through her top rather rapidly. Kiri tried to sit up again, but failed.

"Stop moving, you're going to make it bleed more."

"But it hurts"

Tadase sat down on the bench next to her feet, and gently but quickly pulled her up into a more comfortable position. She slumped to one side and her head rested on his shoulder.He moved closer to her and steadied her as she wobbled ever so slightly again.

"There, is that better Miss Kiri?"

She nodded and slipped her arms around his chest before shutting her eyes.

"Look at the picture, *yawn* ta-da-se-kun."

That was it, she was out like a light. Tadase stroked some hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear.
It was only now that he realised her hair had been gradually getting shorter and straighter, until it was shorter than its original length, and spiky at the ends. The colour was even fading back to the original, but it stopped at the ends, leaving her with chestnut hair and bleach blonde tips. At least he could see her face.

She looked so angelic when she slept, her mouth formed a gentle smile as she dreamt whatever she was dreaming, Tadase could hardly believe the same mouth had been shouting all those curse words just a matter of minutes ago. Or that a girl this sweet could have done enough damage enough to Kiwi for her to have to run away from the battle. He looked at her arms wrapped around his chest, but couldn't enjoy the fact that she was cuddled up to him, as his eyes had met the drawing she had done. He stared at it in complete disbelief.

"Did she really draw this? and while she was sleeping too!"

He whispered to himself

"But if she drew it in her sleep, that means she dreamt about....me, before I even came here. To have a power so early on, it's unreal, unless..."

He slowly took Kiri's arms and moved them so she had her arms around his neck, and was on his back (a piggyback) he grabbed her bag as he stood up and walked over to the fountain.

"forgive me for this your highness but it's for the best."

A shower of golden sparks suddenly surrounded the 2 teenagers and they dissapeared into thin air.
