i won't forget how industrious and hardworking we are.
We were like a family back then and our president was our scary scary mother xD And we usually do stuffs together. The teachers said we were the best batch in their school life :D Eventhough we're serious in our studies because we belong to the top class we never forget to smile and laugh. Our valedictorian is the weirdest! Can't stop laughing at his jokes :) miss them much xD |

I have to appreciate my 3 years attending a Baltimore urban high school back in the early '60's. There I voluntarily gave up succumbing to the peer pressure of emulating adults by taking up smoking. I tried, God knows I really tried. Luckily for me my genetics overrode this learned specialized weakness of my mortal coil. Teenagers never have much money. This axiom was true back then also. Every time I would buy a pack of Marlboro's and walk along the corridors of this castle on the hill (I went to BCC '62-'65, to those who reside in the Emerald City, I need say no more, right?) and at every turn there would be a mooch, hand extended, voice inflected "hey, gotta smoke?". This was a great way to gratuitously meet perfect strangers. Long story short I did good to suck on 3 out of 21 of these cancer sticks in a pack. Being the latent cheap bastard that I was, genetically speaking, I quit for good after realizing 3 packs only yielded 9 attempts at infantile suicide.
Baltimore was on an advertising binge back in those days trying to save America's future from the wiles of sucking on tobacco leaves as a lifestyle. Ah, well-meaning do-gooder adults and/or authority figures beguiling young rebels into subordination and/or submission by telling them what to do. What a joke! I ignored these ads and so did my peers. Again, it wasn't power of suggestion or fear of death that made me cease an expensive habit. It was being a cheapskate early on. Thank you, BCC, founded 1839 in the state of Maryland, 3rd oldest high school in the nation. My alternate habits thank you also. Wheeee! |

I missed all the dumb dramas that started over petty reasons. I was never once stressed during the 4 years in school. I made true friends and sadly discovered back-stabbing "friends". Overall it was one of my highlights of life.

I remember wandering the halls in solitude. As I always had. I paced around long before high school, after all ..
Always plenty of people to say hello to, though, even though I was too busy thinking to talk. |

... I think anime has caused me to grow a Lolita Complex. God damnit ...

Drawing in math class. Writing stories and poems during detention.
Playing video games in Computer Tech class (our High School had a course for it). It happened one day, as a big event. Everyone brought in the PC's to show them off and play video games. I brought in my Sega Dreamcast, and hooked it up through the video card of a friend's PC. It was awesome. An entire afternoon of video games. There were also the weird monologues from one of my Math teachers. She almost behaved like she was hosting her own talk show. Speaking to various girls in class from her desk, as if guests on her show. Making commentary on the reactions from the guys. It got weird. And I wondered if class was the only outlet she had to be social. Or rather talk, and people mostly listen. In drama class, I'd often start class with a sparring match of battles with quarter staffs (but were actually divider bars used for lines). There were a lot of great memories made in drama class. Such as our re-enactment of Metal Gear Solid, when Snake meets Ocelot for the first time. Great times. After school, we had an animation club on certain days of the week. We were planning for a big movie. Nothing got done. No one had the ability to animate. Only a quarter of the members could draw, and most of us were involved in writing the story. So you can imagine, progress on the script portion was sloooow. It was fun though. Even with the project going nowhere. Some of the members did nothing. Seriously. Just there to hang about. Sometimes we'd gather every so often on a weekend to watch anime. We all realized the next year, that the animation club wasn't going anywhere. Sadly, the guy leading the original group had given up. So the remainder of the club decided to make it a magazine club for planning a mag with comics and stories. Which also went nowhere. Well, some of us continued writing and drawing. I still do. It was really a group of people who did their own thing. It became a club for anime, games, and manga under the guise of creating a magazine. Still fun. There's a ton of great memories from that time. ^.^ |

All Terrible....
1) Someone took a shit on their underwear and left it out on the hallway. 2) Someone got stabbed. 3) Someone robbed me. 4) People had sex and they tend to leave their fluids behind. 5) A girl slammed the door and busted her pinky. 6) During 2008, lots of my after school programs got shut down. 7) Some prick thought it was funny to try to set the school on fire with fireworks or whatever. 8) I had to deal with someone who was cranky because she was pregnant, and hell I wasn't even the one who knocked her up,and hell, given the schools reputation and STDs hell no I wasn't going to bang any of them. 9) Lunch tasted like ass and frequently caused me stomach aches, constipation and embarrassingly diarrhea. 10) Boring as hell each and every single day, plus annoying people whom I have to put up with constantly. |

I just finished the 11th grade... and god, I really do not want to leave high school. It's like my groups of friends are a family and everything we do ends up in laughs. Next year I'll be doing grade 12, and then there's prom and then who knows what will happen. awhh damn, I'm so scared.

Nothing really good happened in Highschool at least from what I can remember, I did spend half the time asleep though. I suppose that's a good memory. I got some really nice naps in during my highschool career.
