They said it was a former marine base and the name is "Punk" Hazard so it's possible that the island was one of Vegapunk's bases.

Anyways, Law asks Luffy for an alliance to take down a Yonkou. I suspect that it's probably the reason for the absence of Law's crew. I guess if Luffy refuses he can always use returning the Strawhats to their original bodies as blackmail.

I'm pretty sure you can rule out Shanks. I didn't think Luffy would accept so readily, but I guess that's who he is. Wonder for how many chapters Law will be sticking around?

And he still hasn't officially joined yet. Not that I don't like this new guy, but the strawhats already have two swordfighters on their crew, and Luffy originally said he wanted around ten crewmates, if I remember correctly. I think Oda would be the type to have more varied styles amongst his characters ( Zoro's and Brook's styles are way, way different). If there is another strawhat-to-be than Jinbei, I don't think it will be this samurai guy. Then again, I could be wrong.
