I've seen several forums about American music, but none dedicated to Western music in general.

Western music is not just American; how about European, or Latin American?!!

Or even music from the Middle East?!!!

Do you like British music? Share your love here!

Or you like music in Spanish, Portuguese or other Latin language? Latin music is welcome too!

Not all music has to be from North America and Asia; the rest of the world has great music too!

Seconding the last line like ten million times.

I love me some Greek music. ♥

ETA: Also, give me any country in the world, and I can guarantee you Britain has better rock and roll than them. Straight up.

Well, I do like American music the best...

But I've also been influenced by Latin American music, particularly Cuban music (my mom's side is Cuban) and also Bollywood (my dad's side is Indian).

While I don't listen to foreign music frequently, I always love it when I find the influence of foreign music in American music. I don't like hiphop, but in recent years, you hear a lot of Indian sounding music in the background of hiphop/r&b songs. There is a lot of Latin American influence too, particularly in rock music, I've noticed (of course...in bands like Ill Nino and Rage Against the Machine, they are Hispanic.)

There are tons of Latin Americans (and latin descendants) in rock music!!

_Carlos Santana
_Jerry Garcia (he's dead) from The Grateful Dead
_Nikki Sixx (his real name is Frank Serafino-Ferrana) from Motley Crue
_Eddie Ojeda from Twisted Sisters (lead guitar)
_Frank Bello (former Anthrax bassist)
_Claudio Sanchez from Coheed and Cambria
_Robert Trujillo previously played with Ozzy Osbourne, now he's in Metallica
_the two founding members of The Mars Volta: Omar Rodríguez-López (guitar) and vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala

Haha yep :)

I LOVE Santana :D

Never really knew about the other guys on the list, but I listen to some of those bands. Thanks for letting me know!

Also, another personal fave of mine is Dave Navarro (formerly in Jane's Addiction and RHCP)

They don't care for the music. They like having people to fantasize about.

i think they know that too .. it's just that they love the "cute, girly guys" that compose the boyband itself.

The Anna K's song is called Nebe (means Heaven) and the lyrics are about how we have everything when we are young (like we have wings to fly) but we loose it when we get older and older (there is a line that says "so they took the heaven from us" or something like that). I really love the melancholy of this song...
