Agreed.

I mean, I'm going on a struggle about leaving Tadamu. I'm not really confident about it. Due to that fact. I thought of that the moment I started watching this anime on CR.

The creators of SC have created such a wonderful anime. It gained instant worldwide fame. If she disappoints these many crazy people, as you guys see in the comments:

Then all that glory would suddenly turn to shame.

I kinda know what will happen if Amuto doesn't end. -.-; ...

I'm a Tadamu fan myself. I usually pick the couple that will OBVIOUSLY end up with each other. But this anime got me puzzled.

We do support, but why do people need to be childish and start wars? Seriously, that will totally ruin Shugo Chara's reputation in CR. I saw many fans leave because of the wars. I know many. My friend, sadly. T.T

So, just expect Amuto and start gloating. I know many fans will do that. Yes, I, myself will be disappointed if Tadamu doesn't "win", but I care how the story ends, what will happen to them, what values I may learn, and not what couple will end. That's all there is to it.

Oh and for everyone's info: The story doesn't revolve on love. Just see what values it gives us, we'll learn something.

If anyone disagrees, kindly inform me.

And that ends my lengthylengthylengthy post. Damnit it's becoming infamous lately...

ummm I thought Shugo Chara's point in the show was finding your true self and stuff? ? XD

and I really don't care who Amu ends up with, it's just an anime show, a manga, and as long as she's happy, then I'm okay with it XD

You're right in all senses.
The only problem is that it is presented in a Shoujo foramt.
Shoujo formatting changes the storyline significantlly enough that a few season into the anime, the morale starts changing.

Or at least that's what's happening to Shugo Chara, I myself don't belive in the whole "finding your true self" thing because even if you know what your dream is, a lot of people don't have the ability to reach it. (They're too stupid, they're seriously handicapped, they're a prisinor for life etc...)

You choose your own dreams, but if you can't make them happen (no matter how motivated) you just can't do it.
That is why Shugo Chara is only #3 in the list of my fav. Shoujos. The morale just isn't realistic enough.

Now that you put it like that,it could happen. I always thought there was an equal chance of her going with Tadase or Kairi, but it seems unlikely when you think about it. Ikuto's the macho one and Tadase people are gonna think is gay no matter what he does. He could snog Amu onscreen and people would still say "He likes flowers....SO HE'S GAY!!111" [because,as we all know, girls are really weak people who likes flowers and hearts and boys are these bodybuilders who you can slap, kick or outright kill and it still "won't really hurt them" that's sarcasm by the way don't go and do that]

Peach-Pit might be in a dead end here. They could always pair people up really quickly so that at least everyone gets a bit of crumpet in the end!

Well, most shoujo anime/manga are like that. The main character will either end up with one guy or nobody.

Most romance animes is like:
1) Two guys like the main character. The main character will always choose the second guy/bad boy.
2) A girl met a boy. Then there will be some problems between the girl and the boy. After many setbacks, the girl and the boy live happily ever after.

However, only the mangaka can decide the ending. We can't be 100% sure.

So don't be surprise if Amu choose Ikuto or Tadase. Just support the couples you like.

It makes sense, yes. But I don't think people would quit if Tadamu or any other pairing won instead of Amuto...

I mean, think about it. When Amu's pairing is finally confirmed, the anime should end already. But if it doesn't stop there, it probably means the pairing can't actually be fully confirmed yet.

If it were me, I'd continue watching to see if Amu ever ends up with Ikuto. You never know; the show could twist things around towards the end.

Somehow I have a feeling PeachPit won't actually confirm a pairing. Maybe they'll just end it with a 'guardian characters will always be there for you', 'don't give up' kind of thing. Or at least, for the anime?

I don't know... that's my opinion. Whatever PeachPit decides to do, I'll continue watching anyway.

Good point. But then wouldn't that just make the anime cheesy?

Well, sadly, in reality, it's always about the company's money issues. Like, no matter how much you want one anime to continue (instead of just stopping and continuing the manga), it's always about money. :(

So... I guess PeachPit would have to do whatever it can to make as much profit as possible. It's probably cheesy, but... somehow, a lot of anime are like that.

Nah, but I think they'll sort of pull down the other couples a bit somehow in the plot? Idk. Like, something to make more people dislike a couple...? Bleh, I don't know... But the anime will always tilt to one couple in hopes of making that couple the majority; that's probably Amuto.

Eh... did that make sense?

I see what you're saying, but it's just like supporting any of the other pairings.. There are just more Amuto supporters, it seems. ^_^
I wouldn't mind if Amu ended up with Nagi, either, to be honest.. But I am mainly an Amuto supporter.
If they didn't end up together, I'd still watch the anime because I like the characters and the storyline far too much to just stop watching it or reading it, but Amuto moments are good, in my eyes.
If there were a lot of.. Umm... Amu and Kukai supporters, it'd be the same sort of situation then, right? I guess it's just whatever pairing you prefer.. and you can't exactly choose that, it just comes to you.

But anyone who'd stop watching Shugo Chara just because Amu didn't end up with Ikuto would just be.. I can't really think of the word.
Not a proper fan of Shugo Chara or Peach-pit. Would shallow be the right word to use? I'm not sure.

More people in japan like Tadamu (it's a fact not my opinion) because it is more of a cute love story (also a fact) that parents want their kids to see, but now that Amuto is taking over, Parents will stop approving of shugo chara.

I mean, who wants your daughter to go out with a 16 year old when she's only 12? (I'm only 13 so I wouldn't know completely, but I have friends that have gone out with 16 year olds, and it went a bit further than their parents thought comfortable(no they didn't have sex)so yeah)

So Peach Pit will lose viewers/readers in japan for the Amuto, but keep viewers in other places because of the amuto.

Or it'll keep viewers in japan for the tadamu, but lose viewers in other places for the tadamu.
Either way, peach pit is screwed ( to put it bluntly)
