being a black man I know all too well about the situation in Africa.I think Africa is a black version of the middle east but more on the quiet side.I think if africa wants to rebuild and become a stronger continent then they have to stop letting religion interfere with politics. we all now a goverment cant run under religion like for ex. the middle east. Every time a leader steps up hes always assainated.I dont know if there getting better but in my eyes if they want to stop the genocide then they need help.I think every country not just America should try to help them instead of pumping diamonds and oil from the continet and then get mad when terrorist attack. This has nothing to do with racism but more of being a human being helping a fellow human being.

Well, Africa's progress to.. prosperity is going to take quite the time.

Why? Because of their debt to the World Bank. They have to prioritize most of charity they gain, on an a debt that won't go away with the first. I feel quite certain that Africa would have an explosion in growth, if their big debt was removed.

There has been done some efforts to remove a portion of the debt, but there is still much to be done.

okie im super sensitive wen it comes to children.

anyway, i reckon dat everyone in africa has a role to play.. they cant depend on charities forever therefore sustainability is impt. and i tink the civil wars are STUPID. why kill ur own pple wen you'd be a formidable force wen u work together.

1) hmm, the politicians needs to build up the morale of the pple and work on wat it can do for the pple (as a whole regardless of watever tribe or wat nots, they came from).

2) the children needs education. for children, i reckon dat developed nations shld send some of their teachers dere to educate the kids on a volunteer basis. maybe, they shld make it compulsory for all teachers to spend a yr teaching children in africa.

3) the adults needs to be equipped wid certain core skills like learning english, and doin business. all these needs money, therefore i reckon dat for dose dat needs capital to operate a small-biz, funds shld b given to em and they need mentors.. impt financial gurus and revolutionary leaders shld be dere to help out.

ive got so much ideas lol. but, all i can say is dat AFRICA needs A SYSTEM TO FUNCTION!!! and, in the near future, i hope to be part of the process.

They fight because:

- Africa consists of hundreds of different tribes
- Territorial conflicts (This is our land! No ours!)
- Religious conflicts
- Lack of food/water ~ "If we can get it from them, we can survive"

And so on. Probably thousands of reasons.

As long as they lack food/water and education (which you mentioned ~ is quite important), they will have conflicts.

People should stop talking about an entire continent as if it's one country.

The world is full of ppl that worry about themselves, espically now cause the economy is dropping and global warming. If another country cant get nothing out the deal then whats the use of helping. If other countrys really cared then these problems would of never happend.notice how all this didnt start happening untill after WWII when the countries that had control of the continent (like French and Italy)left it in shambles without repairing what they had damaged.this left the continent in a state of turmoil and they had to reapir themselves which left the continent wide open for dictators to try to control it.This is why we see everyday Wars,Famine, and Genocide cause everyone is trying to take the countries on the continent for themselves. This is why i said if africa is going to get better it needs a strong government to back them up and support them instead of letting them solve the problem for themselves cause their to weak.

The root of all the problems in Africa goes to its unstable politics. Most leaders would rather use a gun on their rivals rather than words, which the cycle of violence keeps turning.
