I'm supporting Hayate and Nagi as a couple in a few years down the road, by the time Nagi gets old enough the relationship should be pretty mature and strong and given Hayate's denseness and luck should provide some good story elements along the way and allow the surrounding characters / relationships to develop more. Based on the way Hayate is written the other paths seem to lead to a stereotyped fluffy but cute ending in the case of Ayumu, Hinagiku's a pretty strong shot but that relationship could cause some of the more lightheartedness of the gags to be lost and possibly end the story before we see the side characters develop. The longer the story the better shot we get to see more of Maria and Saki's back stories and maybe see a Wataru-Sakyua-Isumi love triangle setup and maybe even Kotetsu in a crisis if he has to choose between Hayate and say Chiharu.

I say Hayate should end up with Ayumu Nishizawa. They seem to go a while back, It would be awesome if they did get together. I don't really think Nagi should end up with Hayate, I don't really it see it happening.
