That made me laugh. I can totally see where she's coming from, though I think she took it way too far.

I think it's way too much for a payback. I think she should have just hidden it somewhere. Give him a chance to change his ways.

I guess some have. Though the wife should have discussed the issue before she sold the PS3. If she told him how she felt, maybe he would have taken less time with his PS3. And for only 200 dollars?

No way, dude. PS3s go for about $350 in stores. That doesn't even include the cost of games, downloads, accessories, and other fees. I wouldn't be surprised if that guy lost about $800 worth of gaming stuff. =O

Forgivable but still down right mean. Honestly. If someone has a problem then talk to them about it. Work it out instead of doing something mean spirited. Gaming is definitely not the most healthy hobby but there are tons more things out there that he could get into. What if it was racing, gambling, getting drunk all night with his buddies. I agree though, what's with not working things out. She should have her own hobby like shopping or something like that. What if he threw her stuff out or sold it for cheap.

Agreed with communication and working this out in an adult, civilized manner. This is down right disgusting that people would resort to such juvinile acts. If he had such gaming addictionthat it was a problem with the relationship. then she shouldn't have married him in the first place. Honestly, grow up.

Exactly! But if he had the time to get her gifts and go on dates with her, why not do it again? I seriously think the wife was overreacting. And it did say "she AND her friends" sold the PS3 which means the friends could have influenced her into it. But in the end it was her choice to follow. It's just, I don't know if adults still act like adults anymore.

I could probably forgive her - with time - but is it an acceptable act? Definitely no. It's almost as bad as a man selling his newlywed wife's dog or something...

If I ever got married, I would be angry at my wife, but I'd forgive her because I love her =]
