Edited: actually, i should say first: im a student doing a big big big project and this part is to investigate on Germany's solution to gaming addictions.. heehee

1. Does anyone of you know what Germany did to help in gaming addictions in Germany?
Like any organisations which has done something special to (for example, raise the awareness of people about gaming addictions, aid addicted gamers... etc)

2. Did anyone went for the camp which the German social security services instituted ?

In 2003, the German social security services instituted the first camp in Northern Germany which aims to wean children off computers.
This particular strategy provides each student with the opportunity to experience personal growth away from distractions that tend to interfere with their ability to learn effectively. Students are able to observe and learn to live within the rules of the natural world, often times experiencing them first hand, for the first time.
 It is the first camp of its kind in Europe
 Children are encouraged to spend as much time as possible outdoors with daily computer allowance curtailed to 30 minutes only – where they are not for playing games or surfing the net.
 Every morning there are counseling sessions held by the camp psychologist followed by supervised physical activities at the beach such as swimming, volleyball and aerobics.

Thanks people!
