Its been out for a while... are you liking the new season?

I think it ust refreshes the story with new perspective, but according to people who have read the manga, they say that the story-line of the show is very faithful towards the manga's. So that's nice to hear.

I's just confused about FMA? why do they have to start all over??? and I also observe the story is a bit faster than the previous one.

Actually, No.
If you've read the manga, this one is skipping tons of it (that was in the original season)
I'm assuming they're skipping/making it really fast so they can get onto the newer stuff sooner, so people don't get bored.

I don't feel this series is as good as the original, it's a lot more comicy (and I don't mean it's like the manga) Serious overtones etc, get thrown out in favour of speeding through the episode.

Check again http://hiyono.wordpress.com/category/fullmetal-alchemist-brotherhood/

Already compared the remake with the manga. It's only natural to skip what has been showed on the first version

I have the actual manga. That webpage just says 'yeah this episode takes place in these 2 chapters', but the fact is, it doesn't actually go through every event, it skips over important parts of the plot and changes others consistantly. Leaving gaping holes in the story and character development.

Someone who hadn't watched the first series would probably find this one totally crap. I know I would.

I do agree on this one

But it's still a fact that the first version does contain filler

The first one branches off and contains a different storyline that isn't cannon with the manga. As the manga wasn't very far along at the time. There's no real time wasting fillers or miniplots though in the cannon area and I don't think you could judge the end half of the series a filler, as you'd have nothing to compare it too, since it's completely original and it was cannon at the time, since there was no original manga content to compare it to.
