Me too ,I don't think she was bad but she wasn't perfect .To me Ai was a lost/confused person .Her cruelty to herself was a main factor for her behavior's and insane action's .She's made too many mistakes anyway so it didn’t matter to her much anymore..thatswhat she thought ,something hurted her so bad that right or wrong didn't matter much anymore ..She was bad mainly for herself which costed her a lot and she was really a victim of love ..

Btw ,when you said she takes influence for others, who you referring to by 'other's ' ?do you mean Nobuse ?

Why do ppl compare Mitsuki to Hiromi when they are nothing a like ? Hiromi didn't do anything massively bad ..

It was a sad anime, but it didn't make you cry.
A lot of people hate it but I actually liked it which is weird!
It was funny at times, even if Makoto is a very hateable character.
I guess it's sad because at the start he was just clueless and quite sweet, but then as soon as Sekai started 'practice' she got him addicted and he became a total freak.
It is mostly his fault, but if you think about it, Sekai kissed him in the first place. The girls were nearly as bad as him, and nobody really noticed but Setsuna was a pretty bad character. She told Makoto so many times to take care of Sekai, and then we find out that she just wanted him herself.
Plus, in the end he really was ready to settle down and be with Kotonoha, so I guess its sad because Sekai's insanity robs Kotonoha of her happy ending. Then again, Kotonoha is obviously insane herself.
If Makoto had gotten out of the mess earlier, then he wouldn't have driven the girls crazy and been killed.
But I guess I like it because it dared to be different. Believe me, when I first saw the ending I fell of my chair. I really didn't expect it.
You can some how tell that it isn't your normal harem from the start.

It's not worthy to cry over, but it isn't exactly a happy ending.

Oh well. It gave us the famous 'Nice Boat', right?!

There wasn't anything to cry over in School Days. I was more shocked than anything by the ending. It was your classic tale of things coming full circle. The only victim of the story was actually Kotonoha. Every other girl in the series knowingly offered themselves to a known player. Also Makoto was pretty much like any High School boy who has girls just throwing themselves at him. I never felt sorry for Sekai at all. She deliberately went after Makoto, and hurt many others in the process with her selfish behavior. The jury is still out for me on whether Sekai was actually pregnant. Either way what did killing Makoto do for her? All she did was rob her unborn child a father. Even if he wasn't interested in participating from the start, he may have eventually come around. Sekai was just as pathetic as Makoto in the end. The ending in the manga was a lot different and a lot more creepy. Getting back to the original question, there was absolutely nothing to cry over in this story. All the selfish, ignorant, self indulgent, and naive characters got what they deserved (excluding Kotonoha). What goes around comes around they say, and in School Days it really came back around.

In my opinion there's absolutely nothing in the anime that can make someone tear up. Unless you count that it's extremely out of taste, in my opinion. I stopped watching very early on.

You shouldn't cry about that.

You should cry about the endless number of women who are more than willing to be with a person like that. They vastly outnumber the amount of men who are like him. So much so that it leaves me in...
