I-Pin (イーピン ,Īpin?) is a 5-year-old assassin from Hong Kong. She is regularly transformed into her 15-year-old self by way of Lambo's Ten Year Bazooka.

The 15-year-old "Adult I-Pin" is now fluent in Japanese, and despite the fact that she is one of the most promising young assassins, she works part-time at a Chinese Restaurant ten years later in order to earn money for college tuition, though she still retains her skills. I-Pin's main ability is the usage of Gyoza-Ken, which combines her martial arts abilities with special gyoza buns laced with the scent of garlic, the latter of which numbs the brain and forces the muscles to involuntarily move on their own. Her most destructive ability is the "Pinzu-Time Bomb", activated whenever I-Pin expresses extreme shyness. Pin-numbers (such as those used in mah jong) appear on her forehead, counting down until it turns her into a human bomb that can create a small crater with its destruction.Due to her near-sightedness, she sees Lambo as the broccoli monster, and often beats him up.She also has a crush on Kyoya Hibari, who bears a striking resemblance to her master, and often activates her Pinzu-Timed Super Explosion after seeing him.She is voiced by Li Mei Chan in the anime.

Basil is a member of the CEDEF, and works for the IX. He works under Tsuna's dad, Iemitsu. Basil is an extremely skilled fighter and is very loyal. Because of his loyalty, the IX trusts him very much and gives him extremely difficult missions (deliveries, etc.). He is introduced in the early Varia Arc and turns into a reoccurring character, frequently showing up throughout the series. Basil has dirty blond hair and is of Italian descent. It seems that he learned Japanese from a very old source because he speaks with outdated terms, equivalents of "Thou", "Thee", and "Thy" in English. He carries around some type of triangular blade which he uses to battle with. Basil is the first person in the series other than Tsuna to go into Hyper Dying Will mode. His blade and Tsuna's X-gloves may come from the same material, seeing as Basil is able to utilize his Rain Flame to light it.

Basil is the first person seen in battle during this arc(along with Squalo) and he is seen with a picture of Tsuna's immediate family. He accidentally leads Squalo to Tsuna and his family while they are out, mistakenly believing Squalo to know who his target was. After being tossed aside by Squalo, he watches as Yamamoto, Gokudera, and Tsuna all take him on, only to have to step in to save Tsuna from being severely wounded. Basil tells Tsuna of the Half Vongola Rings he is carrying, and then he is forced to do battle with Squalo once more. He, in the end, is unable to fend Squalo off, and is knocked unconscious.
Throughout the first six Ring Battles, Basil helps Reborn to train Tsuna, even after he lost the Sky Vongola Ring in the Lightning Ring Battle. The training paid off when Tsuna was firced to take on Gola Mosca, and again when he had to fight Xanxus. When it is revealed that the Varia had planned to kill everyone at the Sky Ring Battle and take all of the Vongola Rings, Basil volunteers to help Tsuna's Family to fight, but he, Shamal, Dino, Colonnello, and Reborn are all trapped due to the Varia's cheating.

Iemitsu Sawada is the father of 10th generation Vongola boss Tsunayoshi Sawada. He is also the Basil's master, and External Advisor to the IX generation's Vongola. Iemitsu, unlike the rest of his family, possesses blond, hair, and a muscular build. He is a very happy-go-lucky guy, and loves to drink and pass out(he always dreams of his wife, Nana. When he left their home, he wanted Nana to tell Tsuna that he'd gone away and "become a star", a euphemism for dead.

His cover story was that he was working traffic at construction sites, but he was really away on Vongola business. His weapon appears to be a pickaxe, and he is seen being able to dig large holes in extremely short amounts of time, as he did to save Gokudera from accidentally fatally blowing himself up.

Tsuna's mother, who, despite caring deeply for him, has fairly little belief in her son succeeding in life: she does not expect him to get into a good college, has an outburst claiming that her son is a loser, is eternally grateful for Haru wanting to be his girlfriend despite how pathetic he is in her eyes, etc. She helps feed all the people that are presently living in her house and does not see anything strange with any of them. She seems to be unaware of the fact that both her husband and her son are part of the Mafia.

He is affectionately referred to as Kakipi by Ken and M.M.. He seems to have a thing with showers. He wears a green Kokuyo Middle uniform, glasses and a white beanie with a barcode of his left cheek. but that belies his real talent as a professional assassin, using his deadly "Hedgehog" yo-yos to spray his opponents with poisoned needles. He is also able to expertly control where he throws his weapons to accurately shower his opponent with them.
Chikusa first appears with Ken observing his battle with someone on the list. He then corners Hayato in a Namimori Shopping District. Then he engages in battle with the Vongola, but underestimates the third-ranked on the list. Resulting in him taking on serious damage, but he proves to have a very resistant body as he is able to take them and incapacitate Hayato when he tries to save Tsuna. After he attempts to attack Takeshi's savior, Takeshi, one of his Hedgehog Yo-Yos are sliced, when he loses it, he decides to retreat and take a shower.

Kokuyo Land Invasion
For the first half of the Invasion, Chikusa is unseen, as he is recuperating from his battle earlier with Hayato. However, he comes back in the latter half of the Arc to battle Hayato on Mukuro's orders after the group (sans Takeshi) proceeds into the main building. He battles Hayato until his side-affects kick-in, along the way proving again he can take large hits by being hit dead-on with dynamite explosions and only wobbling. At this point, Ken breaks through the glass Hayato is resting on and deals a heavy blow to him. Allowing him and Chikusa ample time to finish him off. The two look on as Hayato rests helpless at the base of a flight of steps. But they allow him time to release Hibari. Who defeats them both Off-Screen easily.
Mukuro Face-off
After Mukuro Possession shot is revealed, Chikusa and Ken come back to aid Hayato and Bianchi, as the four are being controlled by him. However, after Tsuna recieves his X-gloves from Leon, he handily defeats them both with little fanfare. Ending Chikusa's involvement in the Arc, was his last appearance as he was dragged off by the Vendice along with Ken and Mukuro
Weapons
Chikusa's weaponHedgehog Chikusa uses two Yo-yos which he expertly manipulates to rain needles down on his unsuspecting opponents. He first used it on two innocent bystanders.

Ken is the first of Mukuro's gang seen targeting an unnamed character. Later, he tracks down Ryohei, who zealously asks him to join his Boxing club. Ken is amused, and accepts the proposition, on the one condidition that Ryohei beats him in a fight. It is implied that Ken defeated Ryohei because the latter is seen in a hospital a few scenes later. It is at that time revealed that Ken pulled 5 of Ryohei's teeth. Revealing him to be the fifth strongest Nami-Middle student.
Kokuyo Land Invasion
Ken throws dead dogs at Tsuna's group presumably to move them closer to the Botanical Dome. When Takeshi falls through the roof, he jumps in after him. He is amazed at how ditzy Yamamoto is in thinking that the dogs were actually puppets. Ken begins their battle by charging Takeshi, and when his opponent evades, he uses his momentum to leap into the air, put in the Monkey Channel, and then do a spinning wall-jump back towards Takeshi, who brings his bat out to defend. Ken uses the jaws of his Channel to destroy the bat with little fanfare. His opponent is visibly angered, but first asks him how he managed to change his appearance. Ken equates putting a new disc into a video game console to him putting teeth into his mouth to change his Channel. He demonstrates by switching the Monkey Channel for the Kong Channel, and heaving Takeshi into the glass walls of their arena. Off-screen, he switches to the Wolf Channel and reveals that because of the dead dogs' blood of Takeshi, he can smell him, while he can't be seen. And Ken proceeds to launch a flurry of quick attacks, which Takeshi dodges, trying to protect his arm. Reborn kicks Tsuna down into the arena, and Ken changes targets to the much weaker person. However, Takeshi throws a rock to get him to refocus on him. Ken charges and sinks the teeth of the Cheetah Channel deep into Takeshi's arm. But he fell for the trap and with a swift sword-butt to the temple, is out.
He taunts Tsuna's group after Takeshi and Tsuna are helped out of the hole. Revealing that he managed to instantaneously switch to the Opossum Channel to effectively play dead. Bianchi proceeds to drop a large rock on his head.
Ken reappears when Hayato is winning against Chikusa. He takes advantage of the fact that he has his back to him, and digs the claws of an unknown Channel deep into Hayato's chest. The debillitating blow, that won them their fight. As he watches his and Chikusa's opponent stumble and fall down a flight of stairs, they dawdle and give him time to release Hibari. He is defeated off-screen and tossed out of the window.
Mukuro Face-offKen reappears along with Chikusa, Bianchi, and Hayato under the possession of Mukuro Rokudo. He is defeated by Tsuna with the X-gloves, and is last seen being dragged off by the Vendice.

Colonnello also has a tendency to add "-kura!" or "hey!" to the end of his sentences. He wears black army boots and a camouflage bandanna around his head.He is in charge of the training ground behind Mafia Land and was a former member of the COMSUBIN, thus he is not averse to using heavy artillery, using an anti-tank rifle as his primary weapon. Also, an eagle on top of his head helps him fly to distant places. Colonnello also acts like a rival towards Reborn and vice-versa, but despite this, he shares many traits with Reborn, like being a merciless tutor, suddenly taking naps, and having a sharp tongue.

When Tsuna fails the test at Mafia Land, he is sent to Colonnello to train for his last-chance test. Colonello proves he is a vicious tutor, and great rival to Reborn by physcially attacking Tsuna in competition to prove who was most strict. Viper is the holder of the Indigo pacifier. He is a member of the elite assassination team, the Varia, under the name Mammon|マーモン|Māmon}}. Known as the Arcobaleno's best spellcaster,Viper has the ability to cast illusions, as well as being able to locate any person by sneezing into a piece of paper (he carries a roll of paper with him); the spit or mucus that sticks to the paper shows a map leading to the desired person. He also has a black frog named Fantasma that lies on top of his head. By turning into a yellow salamander and biting its tail, which forms into a "halo" above him, Fantasma can give Mammon the ability to fly in combat. He claims to have been trying to break the Arcobaleno curse, and had sealed his pacifier so that other Arcobaleno cannot sense him. He has also created a chain that conceals the power of the Arcobaleno pacifiers, as well as the Vongola Rings. The chain is known as the Mammon chain, but is replaced, at least by the Vongolas, by the cap that conceals the rings powers the same way as the chains.

During the ring conflict, he defeats Chrome, however, he is defeated by Mukuro once the latter takes possession of Chrome's body.He is said to be dead in the future, with Gingerbread claiming that he took his own life after feeling there was no other way out.He is voiced by Rumi Shishido in the anime.

In the future, Lal comes off as a no-nonsense type of person. She outright tells Tsuna that he isn't progressing as fast as she'd hoped, and then gives him up as a student. On an occasion before that, while instructing Tsuna and his Rain and Storm guardians of the Rings and Boxes, she attacked Tsuna and Yamamoto when she felt she was losing their attention.

Lal is the first person to engage Tsuna and Hayato. She easily uses bullets fueled by Mist flame to entrap Hayato. But when she takes Tsuna on, he withstands her attacks. After battling them for a short period, she comments that in the past, even at her max power, Tsuna would have been too much. But goes on to say that that isn't true in the future. She switches to her Cloud flame, using them to fuel her Centipede Box Weapon to defeat Tsuna by using its Propagation ability to force him to emit Sky flame. While leading the three of them back to the base, they come across Strau Moscas, which are bigger and stronger than the Gola Mosca Tsuna (and Hibari) took on 10 years prior. At that point she explains Mammon Chains to the group. And asks them to cover their Vongola Rings. But Tsuna forgets about the ring Lanchia gave him, and she ends up engaging the Strau Mosca in an attempt to allow Tsuna and his Storm guardian time to escape.
Adult Yamamoto comes along and utilizes a new move-Attaco di Squalo-to subdue the Strau. He laughs and jokes with the two while they walk. Lal stops the group and asks if they should be running, because at a walking pace it'll take all night to get there. She has no comment when it is revealed her information was false. However, when she passes through the non-tri-ni-sette barrier of the Vongola Hideout, she faints.
Lal declines to teach Tsuna or Gokudera anything about how to fight in the future, because they have Yamamoto there who is a lot more willing. She does not take part in the battle with Nosaru and Tazaru, but she ends up agreeing to train all three, seeing as regular Yamamoto is no longer fit to do so.
TraininLal first explains the dynamics of fighting in this era, complete with the Ring-Wave-Box component to successfully using a Box Weapon. When Yamamoto states that he doesn't understand, she attacks him. When Yamomoto and Gokudera re able to light the flames of the Vongola Rings, she turns to Tsuna, who still cannot. When he begins "acting cool", she moves to attack him a second time(the first being when he was "acting spoiled"), but Reborn steps in and gets him to draw out the power of his Sky Vongola Ring.
Kyoko Search & Gamma Battle
Hibird shows up, but the signal goes dead near Namimori shrine. Tsuna's family has high hopes that this means they'll finally add Hibari to their ranks, but then the news breaks of Kyoko's desertion to find her brother. Torn, everyone looks to Tsuna for his decision. He decides that Hayato and Takeshi are to go and follow up on the Hibird lead, and taking his weakened arm into account, Tsuna, asks Lal to accompany him on finding Kyoko. She agrees and tells Takeshi and Hayato that if a combat situation is unavoidable, to deal with it.
Tsuna and Lal try to go to Kyoko's house, but they see that it is being monitored by Millefiore, so they decide that it's no good to follow up on it. They trek around for a while and discover that Kyoko was found by Hana Kurokawa. Relieved, they have a short conversation and Lal accompanies him to go and meet up with Takeshi and Yamamoto. However, Gamma flies overhead, and the two duck for cover, they realize he's headed in the other group's direction, but come to the sad conclusion that they won't make it in time.
After they arrive, the fighting is already over. As Future Hibari had handily, and easily, bested Gamma. Unfortunately, Hayato and Takeshi, as the two discover, weren't so lucky. They had bad wounds that were suffered as a result of their loss to the holder of the Lightning Mare Ring. So Tsuna and Hibari's second-in-command Tetsuya Kusakabe carry the fallen Vongola Guardians back to the hideout. Where Kyoko awaits with fresh clothes for all.
Training II
Lal bears witness as Adult Hibari encases Tsuna in his Box Weapon. She witnesses Tsuna utilizing his new Version Vongola Ring X-gloves, and their "Peak" type characteristic. She does not interfere because, like Reborn, she knows that the only way to bring out Tsuna' power is to put him in a real life-or-death struggle.
Melone Base Invasion
When the Millefiore make a preemptive strike on the hideout, Lal accompanies Tsuna, Adult Ryohei, Gokudera, and Yamamoto on the inflitration of the Melone Base. She watches Tsuna defeat Dendro Chilum with his X-Burner, and is surprised when she learns that that wasn't even 20% of it's power.
Lal's Pacifier uncorrupted
Lal's True Flame
Afterwards, she heads the group and scouts out the next room, but is attacked by some type of Sun Box Weapon. It turns out to be Gingerbread's. He sets up a Sun Web and blocks her allies from helping her fight. When it looks like she'll lose, she remembers the day they became Arcobaleno. With new resolve, she converts her life to her Corrupt Pacifier in exchange for Rain Flames to nullify the Sun Spiders. Lal, using her body to emit Rain Flame, jumps up and ensnares Gingerbread with her Cloud Centipede and runs him through with it, killing the doll.
The battle took a lot out of her, and she is unable to walk after a while. She wants to be used as a decoy, but Tsuna takes her place. She is carried by Yamamoto until Shoichi shifts the base around, separating the groups into her and Yamamoto, and Gokudera and Ryohei.
She is set down by Yamamoto as he prepares to face off against Genkishi. When the fight is over, she tries to save Yamamoto from being killed by pulling him away with her Cloud Centipede. Genkishi destroys it, and she falls unconscious for the rest of the Invasion.
Choice
Lal originally intended to participate in Choice even if she had to crawl there, but Reborn convinced her that regaining her strength is more important. So far, she is still at the base.

Xanxus is the current leader of Varia and Vongola IX's adopted son. He was born into poverty with just his mother. His mother was insane and very mentally ill. Xanxus knew nothing of his mother's insanity which may have created his very hot temper and anger. Xanxus' mother discovered his Dying Will Flame when he was very young and brought him to Vongola IX. When she and Xanxus confronted Vongola IX, he took Xanxus and placed his scarf around him. The IX had never seen this woman before, nor her son but he took Xanxus in and raised him to become very strong and eventually a candidate for Vongola X. He first appears during the Varia Arc, Episode 35 in the Anime and Chapter 85 in the Manga. He and Tsuna battle for the title Vongola X in the Varia Arc. Tsuna and he begin battling in Episode 57 of the Anime and Chapter 125 in the Manga. Tsuna wins the battle by using Vongola I's technique, Dying Will Zero Point Breakthrough and freezing Xanxus in ice. Xanxus is thawed out with help from Mammon and Belphegor, and puts on the Vongola Sky Ring. The ring rejects Xanxus and Varia is disqualified from the Ring Conflict, making Tsuna and his subordinates the victors. In the Future Arc, he still is the leader of Varia and is battling against Millefiore. In the future he possesses a box weapon containing a liger (lion/tiger).
Weapons and Skills
Flame of Rage - Xanxus possesses Vongola II's skill, Flame of Rage. This is a very powerful attack using just one's Dying Will Flame and their hand. Vongola II was said to have the most destructive, devastating, powerful flame of all the Vongola Leaders. Xanxus somehow received this technique and uses it with his rage and anger, making it even more powerful and destructive. In the future arc, it is revealed that the flame of rage contains a combination of storm and sky flames.
Dying Will Guns - Xanxus also has 2 guns that are able to store Dying Will Flames in it and release it through a Dying Will Bullet. These guns were designed by Vongola VII. Vongola VII was said to have the weakest flame of all the Vongola Leaders, so he designed a weapon that he could store his flame in and release it as a strong flame attack. Xanxus takes the idea of these guns and creates his own version. The difference is that Xanxus has a very strong flame and can store his Flame of Rage within his Gun, creating a super powerful blast.
Liger (Box Weapon): Bester - In the Future Arc, Varia stays loyal to Vongola and fights along side them against the Millefiore family. Rasiel, Belphegor's brother, has sworn loyalty to Millefiore and possesses a fake Mare Ring. Varia fights against his and Xanxus battles him with his box weapon, a lion. The lion box weapon Xanxus uses is a Sky box. Xanxus chooses to use some storm flame along with the sky to make the liger more powerful. The lion and Xanxus have a relationship, when Xanxus' scars appear, as does the lion's stripes, turning it into a liger. One translation of his box weapon's name is 'Bester', however many believe it to be 'Bestia' which is the Italian word for 'Beast'. (From the Japanese 'ベスタア' or 'besutaa'.)

Gola Mosca (Italian for throat fly) appears to be the first series of the Mosca weapons. Originally a weapon built by the Military, but was covered up until the Vongola began working on it themselves. The Military stopped developing the Mosca weapon because it required a human life force that could use a strong dying will flame for its own power. The Varia owned a prototype of the Gola Mosca series that had a deactivation button on its back, as well as an advanced model with no deactivation button. Once the advanced model began attacking, it was believed to be unstoppable.

The newest model of the Gola Mosca was dressed as an official member of the Varia and was treated as the potential Cloud Guardian for Xanxus's Family. It was, however, quickly defeated by Hibari and lost its right to the ring. Unfortunately, Hibari failed to fully deactivate Gola Mosca, and it began to rampage, attacking anything its sensors picked up as alive. When Tsuna arrived, he was able to overpower the weapon and sliced it in half, revealing the restrained & bloody body of the 9th Vongola Boss. Xanxus used this situation to frame Tsuna, and become the 10th Boss with loyalty from the majority of the Vongola Famiglia. Gola Mosca, as a Varia member, represents the sin of Gluttony, because Beelzebub, the demon of gluttony, is called the "Lord of the Flies" and takes the form of a giant fly.
Weaponry & Armaments
Jet-propulsion Legs: Gola Mosca can open the back of its legs, revealing two rockets on each leg, allowing it to charge forward and even fly at amazing speeds for its size.
Finger Guns: Gola Mosca's fingers are each the barrel of a gun, and capable of firing consecutive shots.
Sensors: Gola Mosca's sensors are very sensitive, being able to pick up the slightest movement and targets anything living thing it picks up.
Missile Launchers: Multiple missiles can be fired from the weapon's shoulders and the packs on its back.
Compressed Particle Beam: The chest armor holds a circular device, capable of releasing a beam of pure energy. The beam can hit from long distances, and only dying will flames have been shown blocking it.
