Just finished reading it this morning and just found myself not crying and calm enough to talk about it now. Oh my god, this is the best novel i've ever read. Compared to Twilight or anything else, this novel is like Chanel no.5 while the others are like a bunch of shit.

Who is your top favorite character and what do you think about Sara?

I'm still against using a child as life support for another. It's not just morally wrong, but you are risking the child's life. It has been proven by several university scientists.

Just read the plot on wikipedia.

Why would I read something that depressing? It's not like you gain knowledge by reading this book. The story is just depressing.
_________

Also there were already cases of children conceived as stem cell donors.

Baby bred to provide stem cells for sister

A couple in Colorado, United States, has used in vitro fertilisation and preimplantation genetics to produce embryos and screen them for a child who could be a stem cell and bone marrow donor for their daughter.
The case, which has provoked widespread discussion about the ethical issues involved, is believed to be the first known instance where preimplantation genetics was used both to screen for a disease and to ensure a tissue donor match in a sibling. ...
http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=1173433

The topic is hard to discuss. In reality there are parents who do everything to save the live of their child and it's not like they do something that horrible as abusing the younger child as a donor.

Today there is just the possibility to conceive a child that would fit the needed criteria...

Ah! Man that topic is to hard to discuss...

You would sentence the older child to death by forbidding it. I think as long as the younger child isn't forced to do anything there is nothing wrong with this new technology.

Don't think so.

I'm curious. Should I start reading Twillight? I prefer a happy end.
