that maybe right but i think you are talking about the korean movie 'i'm a cyborg but that's okay' the main character is a girl who believes she is a cyborg/super weapon-- the boy in that movie is Rain(비) --

Oh, so there's a Korean version of this one also? Or is the Korean one the original?

But wait, in the Japanese one, the girl was really a cyborg.

I actually saw the Japanese one and I found it touching....I dunno why.

The korean one is a differnet story that's set in a mental ward.the girl was probably not a cyborg, however the story was sort of out there-- that japanese one looks like a really nice romance-y story.

Looks matter alot to me in dramas. it helps me focus on the storyline more. x]
the way the actors/actresses act should be important too.
if the plot is really good and have descent looking people, i'll watch it. i often search the
characters first before i start watching to see if good-lookin' people are on it.

Oh, ok. I heard about that Korean one, i think, but I'm not into Rain so I didn't watch.

Hahahaha....prime example of beauty in the eyes of the beholder.

Yes, I found the Japanese story a bit romantic but I don't know if they were aiming for this.

I don't even remember finishing a show in which the lead was not handsome, in my eyes.

I couldn't finish Pincess LuLu even with Lee Jun Ki because the lead didnlt fascinate me...

and I really thought that the storyline of Princess Lulu was great!

I look more at the ratings/popularity and the story of dramas before I see them. If I know the actors--even better. But whether or not the actors are good-looking? Well, it would make a show more enjoyable, wouldn't it ^^?
I'm okay with average-looking people acting. I dunno but I haven't come across 'ugly' actors yet. I didn't like 'Rain' in Full House though but he acted pretty well. He's okay. There was also one of my favourite celebs, Ariel Lin, who I used to think wasn't attractive at all when I first saw her in 'ISWAK'. I think she's pretty and cute now! xD

Well , I cant watch a series when I think that all of them are ugly...I mean when they kiss I must vomit xD I know that is cruel but I cant help it :)
I watched just two shows where in the first one the guy was ugly and is the second one the girl was ugly...It was full house! The guy in it...dunno his name...He was so ugly! And in it started with a kiss Ariel..She is so ugly! Full House I watched because I liked the girl and Iswak because I love jiro and joe and because I watched the anime before and loved it :=
So as a result : I think its very very very important to have hotties in a show

I don't watch a drama that has no good looking people because it turns me off... I have to know the actors before hand if I'm going to watch it.

I usually watch dramas with decent looking people.
I mean they don't have to be really good looking as long as they're not really ugly.

depends... If the show has a good storyline, then whether the actors are hot or not won't matter as much.
Like... those mystery murder solving shows. I don't really care if the actors are hot or not =P I love mystery xD
But if it's some cliche show like rich guy fall in love with poor girl... zzzzzzzz that guy better be hot or else I'd say I've watched 1097453 shows like that XD hahaha

yeah...hot actors/actresses jus keep me focused. but sumtimes the actors dont suit the characters. like how they're meant to be ugly and poor but still look so damn fine...
