I usually watch dramas with decent looking people.
I mean they don't have to be really good looking as long as they're not really ugly.

I totally agree with you

in my opinion, i think its kinda important bcuz i cant watch a drama if the main guy is not attractive.
Sometimes when i really like the drama, the guy wont matter.
For example, when i watched Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, i wasnt really into Kame until i saw how he acted n it made me love the drama so much i finished it in one day. hehe now i got a little crush on him.
Kame's eyes are sooo cute

it depends.
if the drama is like "oh my, its a must watch" then i dont need the hottie.
but i always watch drama bc of the hotties.

Recently it's not a crucial issue anymore. Many J dramas flop even they have the hotties in it, like Majo Saiban, Orthros no Inu, Rescue, Buzzer Beat...
Just my opinion...

the fact it more or less spices up the attention of viewers on a particular show
however a hottie who doesn't know how to act is definitely a turn off

but but but i mean who doesn't watch the shows of your favorite artist even when the plot isn't that eye-catching yeah?~~~
PS: well... maybe it's just me

hehehe~
