Well, kinda peaceful place. Nice shopping centre, great food, transportation so-so. Overall still a nice place, if you have travelled to several countries around Asia. Everything has good and bad, the bad things are still within tolerance level... LOL

it getting hotter n hotter here lo and as i get older i feel tat singapore is dam small la!! dono where to go all very sianz....vivo, bugis, far east plaza, jp, plazasing, aiyo went to alot of place but alot of times too!! know any place tat i dono?? like place tat MRT cant go....cos too easy to reach #_* hate to study in singapore but at least don hav earthq n not tat easy die unless u wan to get in car crush ba =) go out cannot wear too much will get heat stroke than my mummy will scold mi!! life soo weird!

i used to live in singapore.
i even spoke in "singlish"
lol.
i also even knew a little bit of mandarin, even though i pretty much failed mother tongue class.
it wasn't even my mother tongue.
but i forgot it all except for how to count and how to sing happy birthday and say 2 or 3 greetings.
:(
my family is thinking of visiting again.
i want to go there again now.
but everyone i used to know at that church went to canada.
grr...canada.
but i love canada.
i hate degrassi though.
and all of those canadian shows that depict teenagers in a stereotypical way.
but why would i care?
those kids at church were mean to me, except for 1 or 2.
now that i think of it, most of the children my age were pretty cruel to me.
so...anyways...
yeah...
sorry i got off topic there.

i am a frequent traveller to singapore but this is what i know of it.you pay for almost everything there.You have to pay to park your vehicles within your housing estate.On top of buying your car you have to pay something called COE which depending on the rate that flactuates could be double the cost price of your car.[no joke].For being a small metropolis,they have these things called ERP gantries which can be found almost 1 km apart from each other which cost like Singapore 3 dollars per entry.[thats about US 2 dollars]and everything you buy there has this thing called GST which is 5% of the total you spent.

if you want to go there make sure you got cash is all i can say but you wont find a cleaner or safer country in asia.No trash pillling around,guns are illegal and the country so small you practically see cops at every corner.

Well, in my honest opinion... you can get almost anything thats available other countries here in singapore... from education, food, entertainment and other unmentionable stuff ... you just gotta know where to look...

Sure, its a very controlled state... but as they say "you can do anything as long as you dont get caught"

for singaporeans who think singapore is boring, theres much left to be discovered...
