Ok, your first thread asked if anyone had ever experienced racism.

This thread http://www.crunchyroll.com/showforumtopic?id=10039 begins by denying the negative effect of sexism.. or saying it's nonexistant.. I'm not sure... anyway, it's a thread discussing how much of an impact sexism actually has.

Then there's http://www.crunchyroll.com/showforumtopic?id=7019 can girls fight like boys?... and many others more specific to points of conflict between the feminist movement and sexism.

This one http://www.crunchyroll.com/showforumtopic?id=3239 is for Asian rascism.

This one http://www.crunchyroll.com/showforumtopic?id=983 is specified to Rascism and how it exists but is hushed up.

...

I could go on, but I'm getting tired of searching. Within all of these, there is not one for a broad spectrum of discriminations. Of course, with all this thread doubt, this thread is now horribly off topic unless you take into consideration the penchant for discriminating against new threads posted by certain people, for whatever reason.

there gimme a form or discrimination i didnt list and ill link that to

Eye color discrimination
Hair color discrimination
Weight discrimination
Height discrimination
Age discrimination
Sexual Orientation discrimination

The possibilities are endless since you can be discriminated against for just about anything the person chooses.

edit:

Really, this is a legit topic (minus the spelling..) so stop flaming, report the guy, and let the mods decide its fate.

Ah, but discrimination is slightly broader than rascism. Rascism specifies the discrimination.

For example, when I appled for a job at a liquor and cheese store, and was denied the job, it was most likely because they didn't want a girl working there and moving thier heavy boxes. This is a form of sexism, which is different from rascism in a hopefully obvious way.

When I had shaved off half my hair and dyed the other half rainbow colored, and was unable to get a job at McDonald's, they were discriminating against my personal style (horrific as it was) as it was inconstant with the image they wanted to portray.

well about your former point, the liquor store scene...i wouldnt call that sexism as much as economics/smart management. To fill the role of the ideal liquor store employee (carrying full kegs, etc) the manager would understandingly want someone to be able to fulfill all of the duties required by the job. THe McDonalds thing is discrimination on a different level though

I understood that at the time too. Now the butcher shop.. that was sexism at its finest.. or ageism.. not sure. I looked totally normal and he didn't even want to give me an application.

:P

Don't have any.. wish I did of the half shaved, half rainbow. Just so I can remember that ever important lesson... never let your brother near your head with bleach, dye and an electric razor...

I got a lot of that in high school, honestly. I think that's a hot bed for discrimination. No one hung out with me because I was fat, quiet and awkward.. then I lost the weight, went crazy with the look.. and people talked to me... included me. Of course, by then I hated them all. ^_^

I don't really think it's a duplicate. Discrimination is a very, very broad term. All the threads links were of specific types (racism, sexism, etc).

You're also not supposed to flame others, read the rules. No matter how stupid you think they are.
