4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before?
I might do sometime in the future

1) What skills do you possess that you think would help you if you were selected to be a Library Moderator?
-I am able to recognize basic and obvious grammatical errors, spelling errors, and misusage of vocabulary such as "alot" and "a lot," "your" and "you're," "alright" and "all right," "affect" and "effect," "anyway" and "any way," "advise" and "advice," etc.

-I can also properly utilize basic marking punctuations such as period, comma, ellipsis, colon, semicolon, question mark, quotation marks, exclamation point, hyphen, dash, exclamation point, italics, parentheses, brackets, apostrophe, and slash.

(However, I am neither a professional proofreader nor have I been professionally trained in the area, so . . . please do not expect perfection from me.)

-I am careful with information--where it is from, whether it could be trusted, etc.

2) What character traits best define who you are?
-This . . . is rather a difficult question. My behavior changes depending on my mood and the current environment. I guess that--ah, let's see--I could say that I am calm, lively, foolish, conscientious, hopeful, independent, negligent, easygoing, decisive, and . . . immature (a few users in the chat said that I acted like a nine-year-old kid).

3) Are you familiar with wiki sites and have you ever contributed to one? If so, which one(s) and what was your username there?
-Yes, I would say that I am familiar with wiki sites. However, I have never contributed to one because my knowledge is limited. To put it frankly, I do not know enough to write a wiki article.

4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before?
-Yes, but only one, as of now: I've submitted a review on the anime movie 5 Centimeters per Second.

5) How much free time do you think you would be able to devote to library moderating every week?
-During summer time, I can devote over ten hours every week. However, when school comes into the picture, I do not think I would be able to devote as much time.

6) What other responsibilities do you have that occupy your time?
-As of now, I have a part time job as a waiter. I also need a few hours to devote for--may I say--a "certain something." The remaining time is covered by everyday activities: eat, sleep, exercise, spar, use the computer, surf the internet, play games, research, play, chess, breathe, etc.

7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions:
-I have not and (most likely) will never obtain any kind of literature degree. Thus, my English grammar is not, in any way, perfect.

-My vocabulary bank (excluding my medical terminology [because I have to learned a lot of medical terms in these years]) is--heh--only about that of a seven grader. (No, this is not a hyperbole; it's the pathetic truth.)

-I do not mind improper English, as long as it is understandable. In fact, I do use internet slang terms when I am talking to others.

1) What skills do you possess that you think would help you if you were selected to be a Library Moderator?

To put it simply professionalism. I have worked as a in game assistant to GM's in mmo's, a assistant moderator on various websites, and have been employed one way or another since I was a junior in highschool. I may not be a "grammar nazi" or the most grammatically correct writer to apply for this, but I do know how to do research, authenticate information, and of course use various applications to locate and correct any literary mistakes I do make. I am also somewhat artistically talented, well read, and educated on many things when it comes to anime as well as asian history specifically japanese and korean. My actual work experience ranges from cutlery salesman, to janitor, to satellite internet tech support. I have been involved in customer service specifically for the better part of the last eight years so I also know how to address and pacify upset users whose edits or contributions may have been altered or turned down. I know how to work on a team or as an individual and I know how to follow guidelines and regulations to the letter and meaning.

2) What character traits best define who you are?

Meticulous, forthright, and again professional. I also love anime and happen to have an interesting if a little.... offbeat, sense of humor. While I am not the most bubbly fellow you will encounter and I wont win any personality contests I do keep my word, honor my commitments, and treat everyone as fairly as possible. Plus I am a nice guy (dont tell anyone though would ruin my rep)

3) Are you familiar with wiki sites and have you ever contributed to one? If so, which one(s) and what was your username there?

I am intimately familiar with wiki sites of all shapes and sizes. However I will admit much to my chagrin that other than the wiki for the mmo Nexus TK I have made no wiki contributions. I tend to use wiki's for research quite a bit but I am the type of person who doesn't like to get involved directly unless it is a subject I feel passionate about.

4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before?

As a matter of fact I have not, though I have looked through a number of library articles for various reasons. Particularly in relation to Glass Mask and it's previous incarnations. (Have I used enough elephantine verbiage of the at this juncture of time or do I need to egregiously insist upon bludgeoning you with more verbose repose?)

5) How much free time do you think you would be able to devote to library moderating every week?

Five to ten hours minimum. My schedule is relative and changes week to week.

6) What other responsibilities do you have that occupy your time?

I work full time anywhere from 30-40 hours a week normally. I also try to maintain at least a wisp of a social life and am a avid moviegoer so I normally spend roughly 15-20 hours a week on these things as well.

7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions:

In all honesty this website is the best seven dollars I spend every month. I have worked in the television industry as well and I can see clearly the types of changes the entertainment world needs to make to adapt to the future. Websites like this one are not a fad this is in all honestly a fairly cutting edge site when you look at it from the perspective of what it is trying to do. In the near future if anything CR will be emulated and I can only hope it stays as the best legal way of obtaining streaming anime/asian dramas online. Long story short I really do enjoy this site, it is well designed, forward thinking/progressive, it delivers a product I want in a professional presentation, has introduced me to a number of shows I never would have seen otherwise, and frankly the Rockefeller family is not known for betting on losing race horses if you know what I mean. If I can do something to help contribute to that then I would be more than happy to do so. Oh and if you pick me I will give you a nice big chocolate chip cookie, so how about it?

Thanks for taking the time out to read the application even if I did ramble a bit. Best of luck to all applicants.

Hey guys, I'm sure some of you have noticed that Library edits, that are submitted by users like you, have been taking ages to get approved or disapproved. This was because our approval system was a bit buggy which isn't too surprising since it's a complex system! But the team has revisited it and overhauled the user interface a little but more importantly the approval system was vastly improved. These changes makes it much easier to manage the library so we can finally get rolling on sorting these submitted changes and promote more users to contribute towards building up the Library catalog.

Naturally to better manage the growing Library, we're going to need some help. So if you are a literary whiz (or grammar nazi =P ), who has some time to spare and is interested in helping out, please post your application in this thread and we'll choose a solid group of people to become CR-Library Moderators. Good Luck!

The responsibilities of a CR-Library Moderator would be to Approve/Disapprove submitted library edits/submissions and to oversee the information provided on the Library pages in general.

Application Directions: Please answer these questions and only post applications in this thread.

4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before?

5) How much free time do you think you would be able to devote to library moderating every week?

6) What other responsibilities do you have that occupy your time?

7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions:

1) What skills do you possess that you think would help you if you were selected to be a Library Moderator?
I'm very well organised, I can determine any spelling and grammar mistakes very well and if a piece of information it's biased or not, or if it's authentic or not. Also I am a Toradora Library Moderator so this kind of thing isn't really new to me.

2) What character traits best define who you are?
I'm very well organised, very responsible to all the tasks I receive, kind and friendly to all users and get along with them and I am also loyal and honest to everyone I meet.

3) Are you familiar with wiki sites and have you ever contributed to one? If so, which one(s) and what was your username there?
Yes I am familiar with most Wiki sites I use it for homework to gather information, watching anime purposes, and I also use it to learn some trivia if I have some free time on the internet. To answer if I have ever contributed to one, yes I have contributed to a few at Bulbapedia and my username there is exnyarth.

4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before?
Yes I have to the Toradora Library since I'm one of the moderators for that library and some others but I think most of them were ignored =(

Usually after school on weekdays which is about before 4pm and mostly all evening and at night on weekends and on holidays I guess.

6) What other responsibilities do you have that occupy your time?

7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions:
-Currently I am a Toradora Library Moderator and I am capable to sort out any problems or conflicts that happen discussions article thread.
-I am still currently attending school so my vocabulary will still be at an average point but still I believe my English is still understandable.
-In a few months time I will be in my 10th year at school which means I'll have a lot of school work, studies and exams to take care of first, which means I won't be able to be on as much as I am now but I'll figure out a way to avoid this =)

Good luck to all applicants~

No, I haven't.

5) How much free time do you think you would be able to devote to library moderating every week?
Well due to classes straring I would say during the weekdays, about 1 to 2 hours each day. If it was during weekends, at least 8 hours. During times like vacation I'd be online for 12 hours or usually more.

Well there isn't much, but I would say just school.

7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions:
I'm a person who really cares when people break the rules. For example when people usually spam, flame, flame bait, advertise other website, and have inappropriate details in there videos. Sometimes at school the male minds would be inappropriate and flame at each other or at the females, I would intend to take control of situation and be able to silence them.

Thank you.
