I'll give this a shot!! >_<
1) What skills do you possess that you think would help you if you were selected to be a Library Moderator? I’m pretty good with researching and editing writings. Google is one my best friends. 2) What character traits best define who you are? I'm dependable, literate(grammar nazi >:P), knowledgeable, and hardworking... only at times I tend to be lazy because i don't like the work that is given to me, but if the reason is to help improve CR, then i would be very very happy to do it and lend a hand :DD 3) Are you familiar with wiki sites and have you ever contributed to one? If so, which one(s) and what was your username there? Yes, I am quite familiar with wiki sites, but unfortunately, I have never contributed to one. I’ve only done minor edits. 4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before? Yes, I have. 5) How much free time do you think you would be able to devote to library moderating every week? Well, I already spend most of my free time here in CR(every single day), and since school is almost over, I’m not really doing anything anymore, so I would say, about more than a half the week or even more than that really. 6) What other responsibilities do you have that occupy your time? As I have already stated my school year is almost over and summer is just around the corner and I don’t really have any plans yet, so I don’t really have any responsibilities really. Only minor ones I guess, like some chores around the house… but that’s really easily done on my part. 7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions: I really would love to have this job and learn new things in the process . If I do get chosen, I promise to do the work with the best of my abilities!! Thank you very much for reading my application and I do hope that I get chosen. Also, I wish you Good Luck in picking the new moderators!! :DD!! |

1) What skills do you possess that you think would help you if you were selected to be a Library Moderator?
I believe that I would be a good Library Moderator I am a very dedicated worker and I have a large range of grammer and vocabulary skills. I love you help out when needed. Also, if I don't know much about anything, I research deeply about the topic I need to learn about and I pick up things quickly. I am the type of person that likes to put things across clearly without many mistakes as possible. 2) What character traits best define who you are? I believe that my best traits would be that I am loyal, well committed, contributive, dependable, literate, organized, and quite a perfectionist. 3) Are you familiar with wiki sites and have you ever contributed to one? If so, which one(s) and what was your username there? I am familiar with Wiki site and how they work, on the account of that I use them quite often but I haven't physically contributed to one. 4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before? Sadly and honestly, I have not. 5) How much free time do you think you would be able to devote to library moderating every week? I can't specifically tell you how much time I can devote to moderating but I can reassure you that it is, in fact, most of my time. Mainly, I am on Crunchyroll whenever I get free time and that is usually after school. Although, I have those occasional times where I am too busy or I am away unexpectedly, I always notify when I am and for how long if I know. 6) What other responsibilities do you have that occupy your time? I'm just a basic average teenager, so the only other things that occupy most of my time would just simply be high school and the homework recieved. I always find the time to go on the computer and check CR, no matter what, and still somehow finish my homework or I wouldn't be able to sleep that night. 7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions: I would just like to add that I'm sorry for the unneeded information that I have added, but as you can see, I like to elaborate extensively and be thorough. I would also like to add that I may seem like I am very new to Crunchyroll but this is, in fact, my second account that I needed to make, so I know how CR actually works and how things are done. If I were to be accepted I would be very committed and learn, contribute and work to my full potential. Thank you for taking the time to read this! Oh and I got another big word for you, antidisestablishmentarianism :) |

1) What skills do you possess that you think would help you if you were selected to be a Library Moderator?
I am very good at correcting grammar and verifying data entered by other people. My job, up until a couple of days ago when I got moved to another team, was performing quality control on important data entered into a database. Unlike some of my coworkers, in addition to making sure the data was correct, most of my time was actually taken up by rewriting comments and citations due to grammar and formatting errors. 2) What character traits best define who you are? I am a hard worker who pays the utmost attention to detail. 3) Are you familiar with wiki sites and have you ever contributed to one? If so, which one(s) and what was your username there? I am Apofisu on wikipedia. I have added information to some articles, but most of my contributions have been correcting grammar, marking things that needed citations, and reverting vandalism. This is because I've been known to spend hours refreshing the Recent Updates and correcting problems while bored. 4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before? No, I have not. 5) How much free time do you think you would be able to devote to library moderating every week? I normally get home from work around 5:30-6:30, except for times like this month when overtime is offered, which is rare. I spend most of the night after that watching anime, so I can spare several hours a night. I am free all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Overall, my best estimate is an average of 15-25 hours a week. 6) What other responsibilities do you have that occupy your time? My job, which I addressed in my earlier answers. 7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions: I also have experience with websites and databases in general as a result of my coursework from when I earned my BS in Computer Science. |

1) What skills do you possess that you think would help you if you were selected to be a Library Moderator?
I could help update and change many mistakes that are found in anime descriptions, also love to google and search for needed information. I also are willing to take time out to help if help is needed or wanted. 2) What character traits best define who you are? Carious, humorous, kind, helpful 3) Are you familiar with wiki sites and have you ever contributed to one? If so, which one(s) and what was your username there? I have added information to dramas on wiki, but yet never made a account, because it doesn't require a account to edit wiki 4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before? Yes ^^ 5) How much free time do you think you would be able to devote to library moderating every week? I am unsure since i visit this site now almost every single day, for most of the time (special occasions would be less, but it rarely happens) 6) What other responsibilities do you have that occupy your time? ummm, watch anime and dramas i guess? since its almost summer? i got to take care of my baby cousin during the summer too, but i can make some times! ^^ 7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions: I once was a mod at one Chinese site that's a bit similar to this one (neither animes nor dramas were in the website though), but because of the budget problem, it was soon shut down. I had the same username as the one I use for crunchyroll, but I guess now knowing the username is useless once the site is gone. I think this is a great opportunity for me to learn more and gain experience. Joining and becoming one of the mods is one of my dreams after the Chinese website was broke. I understand being a mod takes a lot of responsibility, but I believe I can carry the responsibility. I know how to organize or arrange stuff, although everyone makes mistakes sometimes, I learn from my mistake quickly. :D |

I excelled in the subject of English throughout my elementary and secondary education. I have a college diploma in Business Administration. Honest, loyal, outgoing, organized. 3) Are you familiar with wiki sites and have you ever contributed to one? If so, which one(s) and what was your username there? 1) What skills do you possess that you think would help you if you were selected to be a Library Moderator?
I'm intelligent, literate, as well as an editor for The Onigiri. 2) What character traits best define who you are? Dedicated, hardworking, and have plenty of time to perform the functions of the position. 3) Are you familiar with wiki sites and have you ever contributed to one? If so, which one(s) and what was your username there? I'm familiar with 'wiki' sites, and have contributed slightly to the Crunchyroll one, however, that was in jest, during the mod room days. 4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before? Honestly, i haven't paid much attention to the library, however, as the editor of The Onigiri, I've basically been doing the job, just in a different fashion. 5) How much free time do you think you would be able to devote to library moderating every week? At the very most, I could devote about four hours a day, as I'm still looking for employment, and school is going to begin again in August. 6) What other responsibilities do you have that occupy your time? Other than moderating for Crunchyland, I'm looking for a job, going to school (in the fall) and I'm writing a novel as well as working on art for my game design company. In July, I'll be unavailable during the first two weeks, due to a pre-planned trip. 7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions: I'm used to deciphering and editing for The Onigiri for the last few months, and as Crunchyroll now has the Newsletter, The Onigiri is basically a moot point, I'd like to continue doing what I really enjoyed doing for The Onigiri, which is editing and formatting to make things look nice (when the website I was using agreed with me ^.^) Not to mention, most of the current mods know me, and know that I'm a decent hardworking person, who actually knows how to speak and write eloquently and succinctly. ~Thanks for considering me! (I'll still do the work for Crunchyland, as I enjoy that as well.) ~Duster |

1) What skills do you possess that you think would help you if you were selected to be a Library Moderator?
I am very verbose, having a vast and varied vocabulary that's sometimes vexing as I search for the appropriate synonym to fit the situation. I have a combination of college training and real world experience in HTML, although the real world experience is more for the personal use to avoid my skills becoming rusty. I'm the one my family calls for help when they've got computer problems. 2) What character traits best define who you are? I am considerate, willing to adapt to any given situation, and am willing to admit when I'm wrong. 3) Are you familiar with wiki sites and have you ever contributed to one? If so, which one(s) and what was your username there? Yes, I am familiar with them, and only recently (this year) began contributing to one. Heroeswiki.com , and my username there is Bill In Kansas 4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before? Yes. I recently submitted a change for an obscure anime called Garaga, since the description was pointing to wrong information at Wikipedia, and directed it to a proper description at Anime News Network. 5) How much free time do you think you would be able to devote to library moderating every week? At least 10 hours, if not more. I could easily devote an hour and a half each day to moderating, I spend several hours on this site already. 6) What other responsibilities do you have that occupy your time? I volunteer at my church, updating website information, recording services, and other assorted tasks. 7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions: I am an anime and manga nerd. I have a personal collection of anime that surpasses all but one store in my town (sale and/or rental), and have been reading Shonen Jump on and off since it began. I have also contributed to http://robkelk.ottawa-anime.org/primer/index.html, providing capsule descriptions of shows that I feel are worthy of being passed on to others interested in watching new series. |

1) What skills do you possess that you think would help you if you were selected to be a Library Moderator?
I have a lot of spare time on my hands and I often have a browser window open so I'd be around most of the time; and as for my knowledge on grammar... my father is an English teacher so I haven't really been able to get away with incorrect grammar. Sure, like everyone else mine isn't perfect but I'd like to think years of being pestered and corrected have given me a slight boost in terms of vocabulary and correct grammar. 2) What character traits best define who you are? Honest and sympathetic... I guess. I'm often told I'm rather eccentric but I'm not so sure that's the case, I just have an innate ability to absorb facts and I try to learn as many skills as possible at every opportunity, so I guess you could call me a willing and able learner? 3) Are you familiar with wiki sites and have you ever contributed to one? If so, which one(s) and what was your username there? I'm pretty familiar with them. I've used them occasionally and I've edited things occasionally but not anything I can remember, minor details I think (such as dates or spelling errors on pages, that or reversing Japanese names so that they're the traditional way around with the forename last). 4) Have you submitted changes or additions to our Library before? Not yet. I only signed up for an account a short while back so I haven't really had the chance. 5) How much free time do you think you would be able to devote to library moderating every week? As I said before, I'm active and have a browser window open most of the time when I'm using the computer. At the moment I'm free most days due to study leave but when I'm at school I'm back at 17:30 GMT most of the time; and I have work experience in two weeks which will result in my return around the same time. 6) What other responsibilities do you have that occupy your time? School, studies and not a lot else. Infrequent parties and the like of course; but not much else. I might be getting a part time job after I've finished my exams; but that's a matter of some uncertainty. 7) Here you may type any other thoughts you have that weren't covered in the previous questions: I'm sure there are more suitable people to this task than I; but I'd be glad to take the responsiblity and put my free time to good use. I'd be an active and dedicated worker and my grammar skills are fairly well polished. |
