well find some creative way of giving us them. i dont know..... so many badges but so little dia. there are to many people who didnt get them, not for the membership, but just for the badges. i already gots a membership anyway.dont care for another month.....and after seeing some of these comments. why not? many other users are mad as well.

Why are people mad?Its a contest no one ever said they are going to win if they look for Badges.It was just a way to get people to watch the show which they accomplished.Anyway a month of Crunchyroll is only $7.00.

Well, it's over, and I never got the Ran badge, much less the ultra-rare Dia, so now I wait for episodes to be available to the general public. Does every long show like this have episodes in the middle of the run member-only for a while, or is it just Shugo Chara? I ask because I'm considering watching other shows here, but if they're all like it, I'll just wait on ones I'm considering...

I can't say if other shows are like that, but I do know that the way Shugo Chara is 2 series must factor in somewhat. It seems that if they add a new show with old epps, the old epps will slowly become available (if ever) to everyone. Just a guess.

That might've mattered if they'd done that at the series break, but Shugo Chara Doki doesn't start at episode 65. It starts at episode 52. Right now, non members can watch episodes 1-56, then have to skip over to episode 65 and can watch up to episode 85 right now, and the next episodes to be available to the public are 57, 58, and 86.

no, Nielk1 was right. Shugo Chara was probably added to the site about the same time that ep65 was released.
IF my theory is right (and i sure seem to like making up theories about this site don't i? haha)

basically, around the time when ep 65 was originally aired.. is the same time that all 65 eps were added to the site as members only.
a week later, ep 66 was added as members only... and ep 65 was made free.
also, so that others can be introduced to the series, the first 2 eps of the series were made free.
and each week afterwhen the newest ep is posted, 2 eps in the archives, and the 2nd-newest ep becomes free for everyone. check the front page under the coming soon section and you see it's true for a lot of series with big archives that are only partially free.

hence why 57-64 are still "members only".. on friday 57-58 and 85 will become free, and 86 will be aired as members only.

you can see many other series being handled this way too. it really depends i suppose on what CR's arrangement with the anime's license holder is.
some series (like SC, Reborn) will slowly release the archives at the same pace as newer episodes (presumably so that by the time the series is complete, all archives eps will have become free?)
other series (Galaxy Express 999, Captain Harlock) have a "blowout" where they just release all the eps of the series at once.
and some (so far Naruto original is the only one i -know- of) just don't seem to be releasing the eps as free at all yet. *shrugs*

yea, it looked pretty bizarre and random to me too, when i first noticed shugo chara, started to watch a couple of eps, then realized there was a block of them in the middle that were members only. but after being here for a month or two, it's all started to make some kind of logic.

I would recommend you to look at the Calender which lists when the episodes (new and old) are released and made available for everyone. Shugo Chara is listed under Friday.

Well I haven't had time to look throught this entire post but does anyone know how we can get the reminder of the badges?
I mean I really would like all of them just for the collection and the fact they are cute.
