I have really thick hair, its really hard to straiten too, plus I'm a dude so I don't know how but it becomes even harder lol, what would be a good hair cut so I can manage my hair bather? so it would be easier to style my hair and stuff

Well, most VK hairstyles consist of layers. So what I would do is figure out what VK hair cut style you want (longer, shorter, simple, crazy ect) and take a picture with you of that person to a hair salon, and ask them to give you the same haircut (or a little different to have your own style). But most VK styles just mean lots of layers. If you want a cleaner VK look then they will probably cut your hair with scissors, if you want a more edgy look then the stylist will probably cut your hair with a razor. Also figure out if you want bangs or not, and try to think of what will look good on you when you decided this. As far as thick hair is concerned, when you get the layers, it will take off a ton of the weight and it'll be easier to manage. However, I also have thick hair and I know how much of a pain it is to style it... but it is possible. First thing, finding the right products makes a HUGE difference in how hard/easy it is to style your hair. When i first tried to do my hair VK style i just bought the cheapest hairspray and was i could find... huge mistake, the products didn't do anything because of my thick hair. So look at product reviews and try to get the best products to help you with styling. Also make sure that you have a good straightener. My straightener has different levels and says i should do just fine with the middle level, that's also totally wrong, i have to put it on high for it to do something.

Hope that helps, if not i can be more specific, let me know.

i'd say,get layers in your hair, then after a shower, wait for your hair to dry slightly so it's still slightly damp, flat iron your hair, then use hair putty/gel(extra strength) run it through your hair, straighten it more if you need to,then use an extra strength hair spray to style.this is always what i have to do to get my hair right,my hair is thick and wavy.
