Please point me in the direction of that particular forum and we'll all be peachy. Listen, I say it's poorly drawn because there is only this one drawing and thats it. If they couldn't have come up with anything better to put in that time frame other than this one pic, it is indeed poorly drawn. I'm an EVA fan, but I still, to this day, struggle with why so many scenes were left half assed. This, the elevator scene, the train station, the exagerated kiss scene, all of them were left with more to be desired. Other than that, EVA had no flaws and a very intricate storyline that only true fans of the show could follow.

Because Evangelion had a small enough budget to begin with, and near the end of the series they started running out of money.
