This question is ridiculous. Anyone, unless they have a mental defect, can fit in if they want to. But to be honest, it is better to be yourself, no matter if you fit in or not. The reason you are asking this question is because you will not accept that you are different and don't want to fit in, or else you would not make this thread and would go out and make yourself popular. So realize that you want to be you and do not try to make people feel sorry for you.

find someone that is into the same thing as you.

example
you like anime?
start talking to someone that does and don't worry about their race or if they have a "group" cause if they like something u do then you can get along.

Fitting in is overrated. I moved schools at the beginning of Year 5 and when I tried to fit in, I failed. I only found a group of friends where I could fit in without really trying during Year 9 in high school.

I have never fitted in. I think some people spend so much of their lives trying to be different to everybody else that they develop this aura around them which acts as a barrier to push people away. If that's the case my barrier is more of security coded, titanium plate dome with a several hidden trap doors leading to a spike pit.

Well?
I dont know whats pocessing me to do so... but ill use myself as an example although i fear someones gonna call me an emo but anywho =O....

well ive tried fitting, be something im not just to reamin in a group, hell ive tried being myself but at last that failed epically.EPICALLY!!!! XO
ive pretty much been through ever race and or group.
Race

Blacks- i dont like rap or being around fake thugs/wannabe rappers and using the term bitch as describing women or saying the n word to describe my freinds however nerdy that may be
whites- my family isnt racist..... its just that they wont trust them =O and tbh im a little catious being around them.
asains- i really think they see me and see nothing..... maybe they think just because i watch alot anime and listening to japaneese music im a weaboo or somfing =O
hispanics/latinos- hmm tricky some like me some cant stand me.
Groups
prep- im way to quiet to be prepy and i tend to think deeper then what some can offer me.
jocks- im like a nerd so you can imagine how that went over (complete self-esteem shattered)
punks- yeah mosh pit arent my cup of tea
goth- ummm yeah a little creepy o.o i dont feel like joining a damn cult =O
emo- ugh omg these people are so damn annoying i think i hate them more than any other group, theyre rejects, way too into twighlight or as i like it worst book and movie of the century i mean get a damn life ure not a vampire, they self-proclaimed atheist and always talking about some conspiracy theorys <.<...stfu and gtfo with that dumb shit....

*sighs* so as you can see my ideas and personality is too different to be placed in a group or unfortunatly my own race =/

If ur subconscious about it u'll never fit in.

90% of what you said is BS.

I know I how you feel. I don't fit in that much either and almost everyone tend to fall into a group. As a mainly african american girl/woman who loves art and Japanese culture, I find myself not being able to connect with most blacks. They say I act too white/Japanese/proper/what have you. Sorry if I don't want to go around acting like a loud mouth video vixian, XD.

I have tried to connect with other groups (preps, emos, anime kids, whatever) but there's no click and often alot of dead air. You know that awkwardness of meeting new people, not finding common ground, and thus having lots of silence between you two...? I should know because I tried. This happens alot. My one best friend is also one of a kind and don't fit in a group like that. I get what you are saying. There must be a click and some of us are so unique, we just don't click with most people.

I like Japanese culture, I like anime/drama, but I do not get along with other anime kids. I just don't get along with them. Clicking has something to do with something greater than common interest. It is hard. I just graduated but its a bit harder I guess to click with others.
