Teacher's fault for putting matoko and sekai next to each other. Otherwise she wouldn't have seen his picture and started to help him.

It was the writers' fault. If they just follow the good ending path (where no one dies and everyone is happy and satisfied) then it wouldn't come into this. They just make this anime to promote the visual novel version, where you can see the good ending.

for the majority of this anime, i could sympathize with any of the characters' situations. HOWEVER, when makoto told sekai to get an abortion, i was able to put all the blame on him. i mean he kinda had an excuse when the right decision was unclear, but if he got sekai pregnant he really should take responsibility...

I believe it was Sekai's fault for putting Makoto and Kotonoha together then just ripping them apart like that.

Also, Makoto should have had some type of self-restraint. I mean COME ON!!! you have 2 girls who would do aynthing for you and you go around accepting more invitations from other girls? what the hell man.

Overall, Kotonoha was the victim no matter how you look at it... okay she did go psychopathic on us at the end but look at what drove her to it. I also thnk its kind of weird how Makoto slept with almost every girl in the cast except for his original girlfriend Kotonoha and her virginity was taken in a situation that could be possibly counted as "rape"... well considering their ages all of these events are considered "rape"

I'll have 2 say Makoto is at fault here cuz' dude just didn't kno when 2 stop, I mean i was like damn dude's awesome, but then it after a while it changed 2 "dude ur on of the bigest assholes i've seen."

iWould say its a cross between Sekai +& Makoto ..

Sekai was an idiot who just decided to butt into Makoto's +& Kotonoha's life. All she had to do was set them up, but being the stupid person she was, she got too involved and even lied about being pregnant. +& The killing at the end was too much, even though she felt so neglected - She souldnt have resulted to murder ..

Makoto should have stuck to one girl +& not gone off with so many others. He's a real player who only likes the girls he can have sex with. All of this was his fault really, he wanted Sekai +& Kotonoha when he should have just pickd one ¬¬' - Though iHave never been happier to see someone die so much in an anime xD

Wow...it's really hard to say, but after watching all 12 episodes over the last few days, I think it's Makoto's and Sekai's faults; with the way Makoto was trying to make moves on Kotonoha, who despite being rich was VERY sheltered (and hence no experience with the opposite sex), it just seemed to me that even though he said that he 'likes' her, his true intentions was to 'hook up with the big-tittied girl' And then, after a few attempts to grope that led to dead ends, he lost his patience and didn't want to be with her anymore. What a jackass! The sad part is that I've actually seen stuff like this happen when I was going to school.

So when Sekai came up with the plan of 'you can practice on my cooch until your intended gets the courage(which will take forever *hee hee)' , the moron jumps on it, gets used to the idea of getting freebies, and his feelings get caught up with Sekai. Her ass knew what she was doing, taking advantage of the guy's desperation to 'get some experience' on the real deal instead of reading books.

And com'on, it's common sense to wrap up your johnson; who would honestly raw-dog it right from the get-go!? Would ANY dude nowadays take the chance on getting caught up, kid, burnt stick or otherwise? Then Mokoto had the nerve to start looking at the other chicks, including Sekai's best best Setsuna, whom he took advantage of her crush on him and gave her 'one for the road'.

Dude was a low-life, and he got what he deserved; what would've really served as justice would be if his stick got cut off, and then he couldn't hook up ANYONE! There were so many times I wanted to slap him through the monitor! His attitude became more atrocious the more girls he got. Then all he was wanting was the booty. It was so funny to me how all the girls he messed with cut his ass off after being blasted in class. Do you blame them? But...at least they had the good sense to use protection! Otome's friends were bitches, sure, but they sure as hell didn't get caught up.

And as for Otome, all it took was the comments Motoko made, and that was it for her. She probably thought, 'And I was trying to seriously hook up with this asshole? Let me get out while the getting's good!' I thought the ending was a really crazy twist, I mean, who would expect two girls would be using some crazy cutlery!?

well.. for me the fault was really sekai... cause if she didn't introduce makoto to kotonoha.., those events will never happen..

Because she was the one who started the "Practice" sessions...
Makoto started to turn into a sex-addict after these practices began... Which made the situation worse.
