Obama...... anti-Semite?

It wouldn't surprise me if Obama is anti-Semitic. Life would go in this world all the same.

Well, unsurprisingly, for supporting the idea of a Palestinian state and suggesting that illegal Israeli settlements should stop being built (because they're illegal, remember?), Israeli protesters began calling president Obama anti-Semitic.

Now let's wait for the "Holocaust-denier" claims. And now that the Israeli Prime minister has responded in agreement, but with some conditions, I wonder if he'll get assassinated like Yitzhak Rabin was, for making the mistake of actually trying to solve the conflict.

If Norman Finkelstein can get anti-Semitic and Holocaust-denier accusations (he's Jewish and his parents are Holocaust survivors lol), then after a while these claims just become meaningless and pathetic.

Unfortunately, you are only looking at the extremist of Israel, Obama is decidedly Pro-Zionist and all that, and he can say what he will. There are cretins everywhere, and most of them take an active role in politics. But I have to agree with Israel on this one, mainly because there is a Palestinian State, wherein State is defined as a Geographic location ruled by a legitimate and recognised government.

I also disagree with you on the value of the words 'Holocaust-denier' and 'Anti-Semite', as both are still prominent plagues, infesting much of the world. Quite a few years ago (if you are not too young to remember) Iran hosted the first annual world-wide Holocaust-Denying Con.

In addition, you are suggesting a link between Judaism, Miso-Mahometanism and Israel, disprove by the reality that Israel does allow for Freedom of Religion, that is to say, you can be a Mahometan and an Israeli (which 20% of the population are). Conversely, not all Jews are Zionist or Israeli, the Chasidic Sects varioiusly denouncing the State of Israel on Theological grounds, being founded before the coming of the Messiah (Moshiach).

How is freedom of religion an issue as stated by longfenglim a counter-argument to Yei assertion of presence of illegal settlement and the claims of anti-Semitic even related to one another.

Your counter argument make no sense at all.
