The only time the guy is the main person in a shojo manga is when the guy is a little...STRANGE...or different like girly or timid or mellow/shy just a few examples other than that is mostly the girl thinking or the girl and guy thinking

I think the main reason there's few shoujo mangas with male main characters is there's few male mangaka who write it, and female mangaka do not feel too comfortable writing things from a man's point of view alone.

A man and a woman's mind are two completely different things, and even without the stereotypes manga use, a male main character will most likely create a shounen/ero manga unless the guy acts feminine, in which case it will mostly always be him being teased/bullied/etc. Not a good predicament for a manga, though the potential lies there for discovering how he copes with it, what goes on in his life, the reasons the bullies has... Maybe.

I dont know, it's just guesswork all of this. I dont read too many shoujo mangas so I cant really say I've seen one with a boy in the lead. There's a few Shoujo-ish mangas (that are classed as shounen due to too much ecchi or harem situations), Kashimashi - Girl meets Girl which is about a boy who gets turned into a girl, Rosario Vampire which is about a boy who starts at a school for yokai instead of a human school, but falls in love with the school idol who also happens to be the strongest monster there (only sometimes, split personality problem) and end up having three more yokai following him (because they want him.)

Although I would say the main character in Rosario Vampire seems suspiciously like female main characters in that he's completely helpless.

Like I said, I dont watch many shoujo, these are shounen mangas that are similar-ish to what I percieve to be shoujo mangas, that is the best I can do.

Junjou Romantica. It may be a Yaoi, but it does qualify as Shoujo.

Otomen is a good one! Plus Natsume Yuujinchou, Hand's off, Vampire Game (kinda, it switches points of view), Count Cain, hmmmmm... there's definitely more. Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. Dengeki Daisy was written by a male author... shoujo mangas written by male authors always have a different charm! We need some more good shoujo animes though... too many shounen ones with "sexy" or "cute" girls... they are making me gag. Ah! Pet shop of Horrors is good too!

hmm...maybe these: toradora, chobits, special A, REC.

well...more like both the guy and girl are main character in these. idk if REC is a shojou, but its good either way lol.

actualy i dont know if theres a manga version of these, cause i just watched the animes. yea sorry, my comment probably isnt all that helpful

Toradora was originally a light novel, but the manga was published in a Shounen magazine.
Chobits is a Seinen manga.
Rec is also a Seinen manga.
