I hope Aion will be the flop of the year and NCsoft won't get the expecting economy boost.
Result: Aion free for all !!!!!!!!111

Well seriously .. it seems to be an awesome game.. but just like wow - 13 €/mo are 13€/mo too much

dont know about that tbh, played some free mmo's but havnt liked a single one of them, so i think its positive that it costs money, and the monthly fee isnt exactly much imo...

I never Played WoW so I have no Idea how it compares but Aion is incredibly visually appealing. From what I have played so far I have really enjoyed it.

when i saw the templar pulling all the enemies around him with lightning, i quickly preordered it

but when i reach lvl 22 with in 4 weeks, was disappointed that i can pull only one

my first grinding game, i came from guildwars so im not really used to this long grinding game, i even got this lvl 40 feather that i cant use

i just dont understand why people love to put so much time into a game like this i dont see that fun on that

anyways i just log-in occasionally to kill elyos around morheim or gather aethers if you guys have some spare kinah you can send it to me Image

Boring, i hate grinding.

I pretty much just log on to get some PvP footage then i log out.

I can't complain, NC gave me a free copy since they shut down the Tabula Rasa servers.

If you like WoW, you would prolly love this game.

Wrong, I have recently quit WoW, but I played it for about 5 years. This being stated, Aion was a boring Koren Grind fest, that Korean games are known for. If you are looking for a time sync this is it! Game play is nice, graphics are nice, but it is a grind fest.
level 32 ranger
300 of both gatherings, and 300 of a crafting skill in about 3 weeks, quit the game never looked back.

Go google some statistics. Obviously thats just your personal opinion. Aion has pulled a ton of MMO players for their long-subscribed games. like WoW or Lineage 2 or FFXI, etc. Aion is far form a grind fest in comparison to some of the other games its pulled players from.

You can cap your toon at 50 in no time given your as clan oriented as they want you to be. Hell, even logging on casually with the exp boost to help will get you there in no time. . .

Grind fest? nah, not really.

I play unhealthy amounts of Aion and I must say I LOVE IT Image
At times it can be and does feel like a grind but the PvP more than makes up for that! Coming from "Lord of the Rings Online" mmo myself, it was a big change in pace with the gameplay but I adjusted very quickly and now am WAY to addicted to Aion lol.
TRUE that you could get to lvl cap (50) pretty quickly if you had no job, no life, enjoy grinding, dont gather, dont craft, dont join in on PvP or any other thing like that...... but to tell the truth Aion has a great amount of rich content that allows the player to never have nothing to do.
But like most people have said if you like WoW etc then you will love Aion. And here I am rambling on about nothing of interest haha

Gameplay 9/10
Content 7/10
crafting/gathering 4/10
PvP 9/10

IMO

Just wait till 25 when you hit the abyss it gets awsome! plus imo 30+ Templars are the most annoying class to try taking on in PvP Image they mitigate and block so much damage that they take forever to kill. Templar (main tank) is on of the best PvP classes in game Image
and plus at endgame you get a skill that pulls EVERYONE within a certain area to you and stuns them.
What im trying to say I guess is keep at it, it will get better

My uncle bought me 2 of these, for me and my brother. Lucky me. But I still haven't opened it. I might give it a try during Christmas Break but don't want to sink too deeply into another MMORPG, especially during my senior year. x_x

Worth a tryout not worth paying for it. It's just the same as most free RPG that come out, such as Dekaron.
