Mainstream VS Underground
Posted 6/17/09 , edited 6/17/09
I was always wondering why is it that some people tend to dislike mainstream just because it's labeled as "mainstream"?

Hey, I listen to the music (both which is labeled as "mainstream" and "underground" by people) and I do it because I like it, regardless of how "mainstream" or popular the band is. Just because I like one band, and about a million other people do, doesn't necessarily mean they're "sell-outs" (or how would those so-called heavy underground fans say: “cheap commercialized s***”). Do they even consider that it might possibly mean that just their music is good?

They think they're cool because they listen to bands that no one has ever heard of.
