Yeah but maybe one tower was hit in a weaker spot than the other one. Anyway I dont get the freefall thing but I somewhat see what your saying except that it was not just one floor but a couple of floors that collapsed and then took it down.

umm...it didnt crumble instantly. i WATCHED THE PLANE FLY INTO IT. it didnt fall until i was in first period, in school, roughly an hour later.

believe what you want, arx. but it just further incites me to believe youre a fucking dolt.

look, i dont care that those people died. i dont care in the least. in fact, ON 9/11, i was cracking jokes about it, laughing about the people jumping from the windows etc. because i just dont give a damn. if i knew them i might, but i still wouldnt deny the hilarity of the situation. they worked in the deathstar, and the deathstar got blown up. they shouldve known it could be dangerous working hundreds of feet in the air, for a government a SHITLOAD of people hated, in a commercial center of the world, that has been bombed before, and had multiple foiled attempts.

they took their lives in their own hands, and lost them. sucks to be them. get the fuck over it, casualties, even of the innocent, happen in war. and yes, we were already in war with them even if we hadnt declared it. we were committing horrible atrocities in the muslim world, and had for a long time.

i personally hope we build the WTC over again, and make it the tallest building in the world where 5000 people work
and then it gets bombed again.

Dude that's about the most heartless thing i've ever heard. I mean come on, some ppl on this forum may even have know someone who died at that very day. Stop considering nothing but yourself.

Whatever... you probably haven't seen me around before so will take this oppertunity to say hi ^^... Sorry for long post, but some of it might be interesting
Anyways to the topic, havent watched that Link yet, but sure intend to. But I've watched Fahrenheit 9/11 and cant believe you guys haven't watched it :o. Michael Moore did a brilliant job IMO. Stating the fact that goverment officials KNEW, about terrorists entering the country, through an program noone seems to know anything about these days. Why? total classification. Also stating some interesting facts about Bushs (or was it his fathers, can't rightly remember, was long since I saw it) nice weapon deals with talibans. The big part of U.S economy the Osama family has. The immediate evacuation of the country of obvious suspects who should have been interrogated. The finansation of his organisation and campaign. And stuff like that, a must see IMO.

Saw also the film about the plane, on it's way to the white house, crasing in a field. Made me wonder if the fact they stated there that the migs or whatever planes they sent accidently went to the atlantic ocean instead of being useful is true. I mean why the hell woud some pilots be stupid enough to stray that much of course when ordered to intercept the hijacked planes over 200 miles away. And isn't it just too convienient for the plane on it's way to the white house to be the only plane to crash? What if it was shot down? Just my speculation...

What did Bush had to win by going to war? Well firstly he blamed Iraq. Fact is Iraq had nothing to do with it, none of the hijackers was from there. Well he made a fast war with Afghanistan, where they came from so it wouldn't be too obvious. But he said that they have evidence of Iraq blablabla, bullcrap. So he started his 'war against terrorism' agenda. Even in an interview a while back he said and I quote to the question what did Iraq have to do with it? "Well absolutely nothing". Then why the hell are you waging war with them?! Well the answer to that is probably the OIL. Did you know US enjoys half the price of gasoliine the rest of the world does? So I've heard. Actually the price of Gas was close to 1,5€/l here a while back, wat is it in the US? The oil is a natural resource with is about to depleat, why not grab as much as possible before it runs out to be even more dominant.

Actually I don't really think the government set it all up. But Bush sure abused the hearts of the people to his great advantage then. On the other hand it wouldn't surprise me if they had a hand in it, just like was said earlier, by some members of the Bush family, they and the terrorists go waaay back afterall... But they still screwed up BIG TIME, it was totally avoidable. And they covered up their mistakes, hid the truth from the people, which is unforgivable. The regime should not have been allowed to continue and yet it gained more strenght than ever, he wouldn't had been reelected otherwise. Who the hell vote on that idiot? I dont get it... Why was Clinton getting all that shit for just a freaking blowjob? Like he wasn't fit to lead the country because of that? I think he was a great and smart president unlike some current one. Instead you gotta hand it to the man ^^ nice goin' Mr. president lol. It's like people dislike more a president who got a blowjob than a president sacreficing needlessly thousands of American lives in some needless war in his own personal agenda. Well what can be said? People were probably just in awe of the president who was getting some fine action :P

It's just like both America and Russia are preparing for another Cold War, Russias regime probably assassinating that government criticising journalist and all. And North Corea building nukes. Or perhaps the Cold War never truly ended? who knows? Anyhow I feel WWIII not being too far away. Sure hope I'm wrong hovever.

Again sorry for the long post

i agree with tomster. that was really heartless. imagine if one of your family or closest friends died in one of the buildings or on the planes.... i think your view might have been a bit different. i'm not going to pretend i know you coz i don't. but just consider the people who lost family and friends from that attack and how you would feel if they were your family and friends.

whoa whoa guys, its getting hot in here!
i dont believe in any 9/11 conspiracy, and i gotta disagree with haddon - a death is the loss of human life, irregardless about war or not. I dont see how one could make jokes about 3000 innocent deaths, maybe the aphorism comedy= time+tragedy may ring true for you, but tomster has a genuine right to feel outrage that such sentiments are actually believed.

i'm sorry but this is a subject that i kinda care about because alot of people died from something that they weren't directly involved with. i can remember sitting in the living room watching all the pictures of people jumping out the windows and flying hankies out the windows. i was crying alot so it's obviously something that's implanted in my memory and i have a strong opinion about.

my aunt works in downtown manhatten and she was there on 9/11, i mean i have family in east harlem and rosedale so i visit nYC 4-6 times a year. Honestly, i cant conceive of being so heartless about it, and yea i feel the same way kyeserin.

i dont care if a lot of people died. i didnt die. nobody i know died. and even if they had, id be upset over the loss of their life, not how. its war. war is war. people die in war (and for those of you that say we werent at war...they didnt think so. we had done some pretty fucked up shit to them, and our culture has to their culture for a millenia, almost non-stop). if my best friend got shot in the face tomarrow, i would be livid...if he got blown up working for the government, in an obvious place for terrorist attacks (its been bombed once before, and has had 2 attempts stopped, i mean, cmon. did they really expect nothing to ever happen again?), in a structure so high that if something happened, he couldnt possibly get out, and was killed by people trying to get revenge for what our country, and our allies and the west, as done to them...id be just as pissed, but id understand it.

call me heartless, call me cold, i dont care. i know i am. i was laughing on 9/11, at the people jumping to their deaths. hearing about the children who made comments about the "giant birds from the towers falling". looks like they couldnt fly too well, afterall. HAHAHAHAHA.

i hope NYC builds an even bigger tower in their place...so it can get bombed or planed or something again, and i can have an even BETTER laugh this time!

Look, if you were trying to be funny you were not; if you were serious then I can honestly say that I really feel sorry for you. You don't seem to realize that your opinions about the world are a direct confession of your character. Any fool can be uncaring and self-centered, but it takes a strong character and an awareness of one's own ignorance to truly understand not only in your mind but in your heart, and your whole moral being that we are all one, not as an idea but as a fact, that we all experience sadness, pain, joy and love, the emotions you experience when you lose someone you truly love, the pain and sense of powerlessness that you feel inside when that person dies. All those things that give you memories you will never forget occur to all of us. Once you realize that it will become clear that you have a responsibility not only to yourself but to everybody else to be compassionate, tolerant, understanding, and most importantly to become virtuous.

I don't blame you, you probably have not experienced what I have so it is not your fault. However, if you have lost someone dear to you, think about it, with absolute honesty, and grow up.

I'm afraid that if I continue I will start to get angry, and it is a waste of energy to be angry with someone who behaves badly, just as it is to be angry with a car that won't go.

ok since everyone seems to think haddons a jack ass im gonna run to his defense here (not that he needs it) hes fuckin right people were america we fuck other countries over and yes alot of them hate us for it to think there were never going to be any consequences for it it just a ridiculous thought. we had something like this comming one way or another shit happens you know? now im not gonna say i dont care that nearly 3000 people died but... i didnt know any of them soo in all honesty their deaths dont mean anything to me i feel bad that their no longer here but its not like i cared one way or another.
