Now that i'm thinking about it, this topic should be put up. List your top five favorite characters. At least one has to be from a book. If all five are from books, you qualify as an actual bookworm.
... I never enjoyed being at the far side of any spectrum. 1. Konata Izumi (Lucky Star) 2. Gray Fox (Metal Gear Solid) 3.Jethro Gibbs (NCIS) 4. Paxton Fettel (First Encounter Assault Recon) 5. Richard Belzer (I am Not a Cop) |

We're all !@#$ed. It helps to remember that.

Hmm I think this list would ebb and flow depending on what I've read or seen most recently. So many good characters out there.
1. Puddleglum (The Chronicles of Narnia) 2. Malcolm Reynolds (Firefly) 3. Domick (The Obernewtyn Chronicles) 4. Brashen Trell (The Liveship Traders Trilogy) 5. Solen (The Legendsong Saga) |

What's a name, when in the darkness we all look the same...

I agree with fleeting, though I do question puddleglum's place on the list :D
1. Lt. Col. Jon Smith (Covert One). 2. Mitch Rapp (Mitch Rapp Series). 3. Jack 'Huntsman' West Jr. (Seven Ancient Wonders). 4. Hannibal Lecter (Hannibal). And Finally: 5. Arthur Penhaligon (The Keys to the Kingdom). |

Haha I was waiting for a thread like this. :D
1. Suzaku Kururugi (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion) 2. America (Axis Powers Hetalia) 3. Elizabeth Bennet (Pride & Prejudice) 4. Murtagh (Eragon) 5. Sherlock Holmes My list also depends on my mood and which things I'm currently obsessed with. Gah even though I agonized over my list, I'm very unsatisfied with it... |

This question is impossible. I could never narrow it down to five, let alone rank those five in order. However, I can give a few examples of characters it might include: Light, L, Lelouch, Lord Vetinari, Justice (Afro Samurai), and some others I'm too lazy to think of right now.
I suppose posting to say I have nothing to post is unhelpful, but oh well. I'm sick of Suzaku hating, so your opinion is refreshing. I should have guessed you were a Suzaku-fan from your avi though. |

Five??? Only five???
1. Mattrim Cauthorn (Wheel of Time Series) 2. Alice Cullen (Twilight) 3. Cara (Sword of Truth Series) 4. Paul Attriedies (Dune) 5. Oliver Stone (bunch of David Balducci books) I actually like side characters more often than main ones... 3 of the 5 are not the main characters in the novels. |

Haha why thank you, I do admit in the beginning of R2, I got really angry at Suzaku ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** for selling Lelouch out to the Emperor I think for a lot of people, as with Death Note, they feel they have to pick sides, they have to hate Suzaku to love Lelouch, and vice versa but I never felt that way. I like Suzaku and Lelouch, and I also like L and Light. I think since people look at it through Lelouch's POV it seems like he's so much better than Suzaku, but it's really not so. In the end though, they are both great heroes. I like both of them, I just prefer Suzaku. I've read some really great arguments by people explaining why Suzaku isn't all people make him out to be. Personally I think his methods for peace/justice were a lot better than Lelouch's. The sad thing though is the chance that they'll work is very slim. |

It doesn't make them worse, just more useless. Lelouch's methods killed tons of people. I see. So what you mean is that Lelouch's methods are worse than useless; they have an overall negative effect whereas Suzaku's have no effect at all. Sort of yeah. Though the Zero Requiem WAS a good plan, and it did work. |

Oh 'the Zero Requiem' is what they called that plan. Sadly, I have a feeling their plan might not have worked in today's world. Or maybe it would, you never know. It'd be nice to live then... If only for a little bit, the end of the last episode makes it seem like it was a utopia. |

It never ceases to amuse me to see scenes that show his athletic ability (or complete lack thereof.) XD |
