The most recent performance was "modern Cinderella" in which I played a chat-show host
based off of jerry springer. I got stage fright and had to have my first line told to me.
The rest went fine...even the dance at the end -.-
I still got an award for it though seeing as I got my script only two weeks before
the actual performance.

During High School I was in Drama class. For our final we were to act in a play called "A Most Curious Phenomenon". It's about a very smart girl (VERY smart girl) who falls in love. Scientists are astounded that this girl with all her logical power succumbs to love. Two scientists then examine her life from young to teen, wondering what went wrong. Wondering what this most curios phenomenon could possibly be.

Hopefully I explained it right. It's a comedic play.
I was Mr. Hillsdale, father of Sarah (the VERY smart girl), it was a small part but fun nonetheless.

Yeah, when I was 3rd grade. My teachers made all my classmate to do a player.
We have to do it, we don't have a choice. I hate it so much. I hate theater.

Yes damn its SO embarrassing that I have...I had to be a stupid reindeer in a xmas play...and my red nose fell off >_< and I had to do the rudolph the red nose reindeer song without the nose because it rolled away!! *sigh* then I had a row infront of everyone for bursting out laughing during the song. Stupid pushy teacher...I will assasinate her to stop her terrorising other children's childhoods! lol.

It's not to embarrass yourself, it's to show if you have some guts.
As for me, no, I haven't participated in any but I'd love to. (:

No.

But so many of my friends have, and I've had to see so many of their shows that I never want to see one again

Yes - during high school.

Year 8 - The Mikado
Year 9 - Guys and Dolls
Year 10 - The Pajama Game

(Or with Year 9 and 10, it might have been the other way around).

I auditioned for the Year 11 one (The Boyfriend) but dropped out because I was sick for the first couple of practices.

I was in the chorus for all of them.

I also did drama outside school for about five years - maybe more, maybe less - and we had various mid-year and end-of-year productions. Nothing like really well-known though.
