Hi out there, does anyone know the episode release schedule for Glass Mask? I saw that 13 days ago, they released a bunch of episodes, then 6 days ago they release again. Is it every week that they are releasing more episodes?

There is no set release schedule but CR is putting out the episodes as quickly as possible and fairly regularly. At this point there are eight episodes left to be released so there wont be too much waiting left before the series is completed if things continue at the current rate.

I was watching all the episodes the day they were released, but now I'm a little frustrated with the delay - My assumption is that they are all heading to Anime Expo this weekend, which may have something to do with it. Who knows?

The big issue with me is that I've been running out of stuff in general. I've watched nearly everything on Chrunchyroll... including a ton of anime I really didn't initially want to watch.

I suggest people watch as much different anime as possible, just to get exposed to all the different styles and genres within anime... however, not everything is for everybody. Glass Mask is one that I grew to like, just as Naruto was one that I grew to dislike.

For an appropriate food comparison, there are alot of different types of sushi... and a few are an aquired tasts, which means, you might not like it when you first try it... but you can grow to like it later on.

I guess Glass Mask is like Sea Urchin to me.

this is now a business to them so if delaying releases forces short term members to renew don't put it past them to do exactly that simply to try and make more money.don't forget they have Japanese businessmen expecting them to meet membership numbers in a time frame.

the more popular something gets the faster the bean counters find ways of eking out more money from it! Macpukes even has an entire university devoted to cutting costs and increasing profit.

the tidbits of news are the PR section although you'll notice most of the news is rarely on any of the subjects in the forums but mostly to promote new ways to attract members.

has anyone seen any news on such things as a possible season 2 of skip beat considering crunchyroll needs to be in touch with japans TV station who in turn deals directly with the producers of the anime leaving the fans with ZERO news seems to be how this site works. even taking the time to mention they can't get any info would have been better than completely ignoring a few thousand fans inquiries.. so don't expect anything in the forums to ever get the attention of someone unless you break the rules and that wont do much beyond getting banned.

take a look at the coming soon page it doesn't even have next week filled out that's a glaring example of "This is a business" "once we have your money don't bother asking questions, we'll spoon feed you what we want to"

Wow a tad bitter aren't we.

Not that I don't agree in essences to some of your points. but wow.

as for:
"This is a business" "once we have your money don't bother asking questions, we'll spoon feed you what we want to"

two points:
Smart businessmen know that providing valid and timely information to their clients helps ensure repeat business.

Just because a business HAS information doesn't mean it's moraly obliged to broadcast it at will. how much 'inside' dope you do you think six bucks actually buys?

like to contradict yourself much?

yes smart business is keep your clientele informed. but thats certainly not true of crunchyroll they can't even keep the coming soon page a week in advance much less the formatted month ahead up to date thats piss poor business sense on their part. spending all their time trying to attract new clients with gimmicks while ignoring the vast majority of their existing clients inquieries about already existing products or follow ups to them is a great way to lose members.

do you think we the members need crunchyroll to see these anime's? since EVERY simulcasted anime is being streamed for free within an hour of being aired in japan on other sites they don't really supply something we can't get elsewhere for even less cost to us.

that being said it would be in crunchyrolls best interest to keep its paying members happy and that means NOT ignored when we ask about series they provide here.

yes its in their interest to actually find out information or to actually say something beyond completely ignoring everyone's posts. that's called service.

by the way if a series is getting a new season (being inside dope as you put it) its actually in everyone's interest crunchyrolls too to get the fans the information early because it actually boosts sales of existing dvds and merchandise getting quiet and ignoring any inquiries turns fans away and reduces sales and eventually the series loses any interest even if its dug up later.

as for $6 try multiplying that by 30000-40000 or about a quarter of a million dollars per month does have buying power and deserves more information than the free sites who actually do inter act with their members.

Anime is crack!

It sucks they don't have any right now, I'll just go rob some lil' old ladies and come back every thirty minutes until they re-up.

Waiting sucks, but there are only 4 episodes left to this series. And like a 15 year old girl, I love me some Glass Mask! I can see why the manga has been ongoing for such a ridiculously long time in the land of Giant Monsters and Robots!
