This game is freaking great, but there aren't enough items like in Sims 2. And Maxis doesn't own it anymore. EA does.

I like how you are not limited to just the house. I hope they come out with some expansions soon, though.

i really enjoy playings sims 3. the only thing that i seem to never get use to is the language they speak. XD how cool would it be to acutely know what there saying other then taking guesses. but ya great game. im still trying to get enough money to expand my house on it XD

I kinda find it boring because there were definitely less things in the sims 3 than in sims 2.
Btw, if you check at ign.com, they have news on the new expansion pack that is coming soon...
I just hope that there won't be so many expansion packs as the sims 2 though... But with stuff more in that few expansion packs....

Don't really have the zest to play it after I realised that I would have to start all over again with a new family lol. And there is nothing much to do in this current Sims 3 without expansion packs anyway ><

Yeah, I've played it and its amazing

I do play it everyday but I liked sims 2 more I mean at the sims2 you can download a lot of stuff and they are really nice but there isn't a lot at the sims3 .. but you know I liked there jobs at sims3 I mean you can be celebrity and stuff like that ^^!!
my family is really great I do have 2 girls and one boy ,, my first child is a girl and she is going to be young adult today ( I don't really want to I really love her to stay teen forever ) the other girl is a new born and the boy is a child but he is so smart ^^
I loved how you can chose ur personality it's really nice you have a lot of choice not like the sims2 ,, but I don't really liked that you can't buy clothe >< ... I really love to buy them not to have all of them ..

I love sims 3, and got the expansion, was disappionted a little tho, mostly cause u just visit, then have to go, unless i am missing something that lets me stay ther

but i would sims 2, if i would base my decision on items rather then gameplay

if i would to pick from all of the features for both, i would pick sims 3, for customization, and you can explore, get jobs, don't have to focus as much on needs like u did in the last two, can earn bonus to stop going to bathroom completely, slow hunger by alot, less showers, improve a variety of skills and talents, the building of houses can be more unique, can put your furniture at an angle now lol, can items and food with you to eat on the spot, can take a guitar and play anywhere, even for tips if your skill is high enough which is a great way to skill up your charisma and friendships too, you take a laptop with you to parks, have picnics with random ppl

to the ppl that said it sucked, if don't like it take the initiative to do something about it, contact an editor or company and politely and formally state your thoughts, or make a game yourself, i did that before with RPG Maker when i still had Win XP, was fun but time consuming, don't just sit around and whine about it, do something, and dont just put "THIS GAME SUX, MAKE IT BETTER, LIKE PUT MOAR ITEMS AND STUFF"
use some class and finesse, specifically say what could be improved and how it could be improved
