I haven't been to one anime convention here(anicon). =/ I want to go to one really bad though.
Btw, Otakon is in Maryland and Expo is in California; but they're basically the same thing. ^^

Anyone who enjoys anime and videos games should definitely check out Otakon. I'm lucky enough to live close to where they hold the event, and have been going for the past few years. It is AMAZING!!! Anyone near the Eastern sea-board should definitely go, and anyone else who is willing to make the trip. Last year they had about 22,000 people attend and it gets pretty crazy in there. The video game tournaments are really fun, there's a lot of music and dancing, famous voice actors, anime workshops and talks, and the Dealer's Room has all kinds of crazy cool stuff to buy. Every year I tell myself I won't go too overboard with buying stuff but i always find something to bring home.

i wanna go so much but my mom says its too expensive to go from New York to LA, If she can afford a vacation from NY to Russia then im pretty sure she can afford LA! DX

Sounds cool that Crunchyroll will be there. Wish they could be at the London MCM event too. Anime Expos are great fun and the cosplays are awesome. To all the people going, have fun!
