Why does everyone like Zero?

I like Kaname as much!! But I wouldnt say I dont like Zero. He's also cool guy but my heart tells me that Kaname is the best!! He's more powerful and stronger! Actually he's really kind.. Oh goshh he's soo freakin' attractive!

i like kaname, zero, and the rest of them. so practically. i like the whole cast. but mostly. yuuki, kaname, and zero

i always fall for the tragic character like ikuto and zero

Why eveyone likes Zero? that simple! its because he's so damn HOT! but kaname is hotter...

Everyone likes Zero, because he DOESN'T need a bunch of screaming fangirls and some 'gang' to prove that he's HOT! (unlike some of the characters in VK *ahem*)

He can get his hotness all by himself!!

I love Zero because, eh well I don't know... just like him, can't really say why. I guess I like his character more than Kaname in some way.

I love Zero because he is kind in a real way not that over done prince way. When he cares or loves something he really loves it. He was always there 4 Yuuki when she needed it. He is kind but in a way like he shows it though actions. And those eyes are just wonderful. To me I just Love him for the way he is. His heart is just wonderful if u really look into it his character is very deep. Kaname may be hot but he is not deep enough for me if I was Yuuki I would chose Zero over Kaname any day no matter what Kaname did.

Exactly, it's because we can relate to him. Even if he doesn't show his feelings, we KNOW what he feels.
Even if he's the cool dude, he's also a friend, a shoulder to cry on, a protector, a hero.
He's not the mysterious, planning, secretive guy. He doesn't care about vampire hierarchy! He's a rebel, someone wanting to change the upper-class! Someone who stands up for what he desires and let's other people find their happiness, even if he doesn't get anything back.
He's dutiful and brave. He fights to protect and doesn't let others clear his job for him.
The lists go on and on.. He's an amazing character, my fave till date!

ZERO IS WAY TOO COOL! He's got everything - the looks, the brain, and the attitude.

To summarize it all, I love Zero because he is Zero.

I like Zero because he strives to achieve his goals and will do anything to achieve them. Yet when Yuuki is in the way he fails utterly. His sense of hate for vampires is utterly beautiful for some odd reason that i don't even know how it can really be that beautiful. Other then that he does have realistic emotion that many people can relate to..

same here ~ I like zero because I deeply sympathize with him, all these horrible things he had suffered, seeing his own parents killed in front of him, his very dear brother betrayed him, an arrogant ruthless pureblood vampire has turned him from a peaceful human to a monster who feeds on people's blood to get energized, all these disasters yet he is still going and have a kind loving heart and noble intentions, Great guy! if I were zero, I would definitley kill all those criminal vampires whos called "pure blood" to save innocent people from being turned into a vampires and then suffer for the rest ot their life, I think only vampires who DON'T turn a human into a vampire have a right to live peacefully if they want, other wise they should be killed for turning human's life to a HELL I understand zero's feelings very well and I'm definitley on his side =)

I like Zero, but not as much as I could have. He broods too much, and yeah, he has a darn good reason for it, but its not like Ciel doesn't have a dark past either! Or Yoite! Or Edward! Their characters truly mature to me, but Zero's doesn't. He's stuck on the same thing... It okay that he thought about revenge, I totally get that. But he never really ever had planned anything, probably just thought of shooting Shizuka's brains out.

I feel I can understand Kaname a lot more now because instead of just thinking, "I am going to someday kill Rido," he thought, "Rido needs to die, but how..? Well, heres what I'll have to do.. and here is what I predict this person to do...And I'll counter that by...' Kaname put a lot of thought into it.

I feel that liking someone just because of their past isn't really cool at all. Zerocould have also stopped thinking about himself for once, and thought about Yuuki. They could actually have had a chance together if Zero wasn't planning unjustified genocide. Sure, kill the bad purebloods, who needs 'em? But Zero's line of thought makes me think of a well known guy named Hitler. Furthermore, its like saying lets wipe out the human race because they could destroy things.
