The Battle Ends Half Ways?
Posted 6/24/09
Well I have been looking at photos and paintings from the history (American foremost and western) and I noticed that women used to have skirts and dresses. Whiles men had pants. But the blue jeans totally changed that view on cloths and gender discussions and view on standard (or stereotypes). The blue jeans are now an unisex cloth wear. The battle of the sexes, that is something we all know about. I am pretty sure these discussions have occurred already at the beginning of the gender swaps of items. Just like how men cross dress and tomboys and so forth. But at the time of the jeans, the teens of that time rebelled against injustice and drugs were out the market, we all know about the 60s. So, my question would be, do you feel that it's immoral and wrong to have unisex cloths nowadays that were for only one gender in the past for so long? And also, the gender benders, do you rather see men in men's clothing and vice versa? What do you prefer? Girls in pants all the time or dresses? Or why not a more flexible idea? Make your voice heard. Thank you all in advance!

P.S: I have yet not come to tell my view on this, or if I feel if its wrong or not, so please don't come to any weird conclusions now^^

Well....I see no problem with jeans being unisex...who cares if pants were "men only" in the past.

And I prefer girls in pants all the time, because skirts and dresses are annoying as hell. I hate having to watch how I sit and such.

^ i agree. (hate dresses) plus, people can wear whatever makes them comfortable.

I think skirts are better than jeans for the girls. I mean, who knows you can get a good view on the sexy legs ;p
