I hope so, other wise there'd be no point in me being picky about what I wear and what not. There's nothing wrong with someone "expressing themselves" through their clothing, make-up, accessories as long as you don't mistake it for your personality.

Oh and I always say: Anything will look good, as long as it suits you

I don't know about everyone else but I feel better when I am dressed well. I love comfortable clothes however so I won't wear something uncomfortable no matter how nice it is.

My type of comfortable is good looking and not itchy and crap like that. I'm not a 100% comfy fan, and stuff that looks like sh*t. IE crocs, nightmares I say.

haha then that girl must not look in the mirror often.
Well if u have experience and u know how hot and Fly u are then you should wear somtin nice.
If u take like a styling job you need to know what matches ur shoes or shirt and everything has to compliment ur face and body structure. Or if u dont really know anything just wear somtin that makes u comfortable.
Well its hard to explain if anyone wants me to explain thoroughly PM me SUp
single and lovin it

I would like to say that clothing doesn't affect the person, but from my personal experience I've seen that when people dress in different styles of clothing they attract different spheres of friends, which causes them to act a certain way.

I like to wear a mixture of comfortable and pretty. It's hard to wear something uncomfortable nowadays, since designers want their customers to be comfortable while looking nice. Unless you're talking couture.. which is just out of the ballpark.

ppl wearin some clothes that dont seem to fit with them.
ITs funny cuz you see their face all uncomfortable thats not the way to war
I told one of my weird friend who had a x large t and long bagy pants he didnt wear a belt and his pants was next to his ankle.
I told him to dance to the floor (pop, lock and drop it)
he did it and its funny cuz hes all uncomfortable.
Im just saying just wear some colors that youd like and some comfortable threads

A lot of the time, your clothes will attract certain people, then you become close to these people (like friends) and they can sometimes influence you and your personality.

I wear whatever I like. Most likely a t-shirt and jeans since it's comfy.

i think it dose kinda depend
like my best friend if you wears her preppy clothes then she herself but if she uses my sk8er/punk clothes then she acts like a sk8er which bugs me...
my 1 of guy friends we put him in some nerdy clothes and he was smart we found out

for me i dont really act like a sk8er/punk or anything but i found out i have alot more sk8er friends becuz i dress that way
but i do act like my hair cuz its bloned and it has 2 long strans in front and then its all spiky in back i know 1 person who had that same hair cut and she acts the smae way i do so yeah...

I dress casual where ever I go. Gatherings, parties and even meetings. No one cares.

I am always in a white undershirt and slacks. Slacks own. So hard.

How you dress is how you choose to present yourself to the world. So yeah I think it says a lot about someone or what they're trying to say to you. Sometimes I dress different depending on my mood...Sometimes I feel girly so I dress in a nice sweater, put make up on wear boots and others I just feel like wearing a t-shirt and my comfy jeans. I've seen girls who act like they're hot sh** because you can almost see their no-no as they're walking by. They want attention and they do get it.

i like to shop. so i have lots of clothes. but i dont really act the brand. i buy them cause i think they look good and theyre comfortable. yay for my self esteem. but just because i rock a jam master jay shirt or a "i love hip hop" doesnt mean i got to walk around all thuggish or spit rhyme. sometimes though the clothes i wear are more comfortable for like breakdancing or just dancing..so in that case its not really acting like the way i dress more like the attire was associated with what i do..like the clothes fit the situation rather than myself acting the way i dress.

This becomes especially true when you're out looking for a job. It may be shallow but someone who dresses well and presents themselves in a professional manner is more likely to get the job than someone who doesn't. It's the same sort of thing for anyone in a sales position. Dressing well and taking the time to present yourself favorably makes a huge difference in the unconscious response from clients.
